Please keep in mind when traveling to Denver that it is a mile high. Even though it isn't as high as the mountain towns, people can still get altitude sick so make sure to drink a lot of water. Also remember that means that you feel the buzz of alcohol faster, so remember this when drinking at the wedding.
You will need to rent a car if you want to hike, but there are no shortages of hikes just outside of Denver. Some of our favorite hikes include: -The Flatirons in Boulder, CO (about 30 min. from downtown Denver) -Lost Lake via Hessie Trail in Nederland, CO (about 1 hr. 15 min. from downtown Denver) -Saint Mary's Glacier in Idaho Springs, CO (about 45 minutes from downtown Denver) Consult AllTrails before going to check milage and difficulty.
Here are some of our go to's and other Denver favorites: -Ester's Neighborhood Eatery (pizzas, salads, local beer) -Sushi Den (Sushi) -Izakaya Den (Japanese small plates) -Snooze (Brunch) -City O' City (vegan/vegetarian) -Tag Burger Bar (burgers) -Rosenberg's Bagels -Safta (Mediterranean) -Denver Milk Market (food hall in the heart of downtown)
The RiNo, Five Points, and LoDo neighborhood have a plethora of bars to choose from, but here are some we love: - RiNo beergarden - Improper City - Finn's Manor - Ratio Brewery
While the entire wedding will be taking place outside, a COVID test can always help calm any fears. Testing is super easy in Colorado. Follow the link below if you would like to find a location near where you are staying. https://covidcheckcolorado.org/
