What about covid-19?

Answer

Given the success of the vaccine rollout as of now and the planned removal of masking and gathering restrictions in Mendocino county by wedding time: We are planning to make this a mask-optional event and highly suggest that you are vaccinated as most of us will be and will therefore not be masking, social distancing, etc. If you cannot be vaccinated for some reason and still want to attend, please let us know in advance so that we can plan to have some areas set up for social distancing. If things take a turn for the worse covid-wise, we will certainly revisit this plan and revise as necessary as we care deeply about everyone's health and safety. In addition, 90% of the weekend will be outside except for short bus rides and dancing in the barn on Saturday night.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED & BABY SITTERS?

Answer

We love all of your kids! But unfortunately, we are not inviting them to the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. Exceptions can be make for folks who have new babes that are still mommy-feeding, etc. :) Children will be welcome to the festivities on Friday, though! **Please reach out to Stacy if you need a baby sitter for Saturday afternoon/evening at mendosweetheart707@gmail.com

DO YOU HAVE A GIFT REGISTRY?

Answer

We wholeheartedly feel that traveling to celebrate our wedding with us is the most generous gift you can give us. Given that, we DO NOT want any wedding gifts! Seriously. No donation funds or anything either. If you feel like you must give us something, make it your best moves on the dance floor ;)

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE THE CEREMONY / RECEPTION?

Many lodging possibilities are within walking distance to Spring Ranch (the wedding venue). But for those not within walking distance, please check the travel and lodging page for more information about the shuttle that will be provided to and from the wedding!

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner - Cocktail Attire - Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and a suit or dark jackets & slacks. Friday Fun Day - Casual Saturday Wedding - Cocktail Attire - Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and a suit or dark jackets & slacks. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. **Much of the events will be in grass or fields, so be prepared to walk your shoes in grass and dirt.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Fall weather on the Northern California coast can be unpredictable! It could be hot, it could be rainy and cold, so plan for anything. Just be sure to bring some warm layers to the wedding itself as dinner will be held outdoors.

CAN WE BRING OUR PETS?

Answer

Your pets are welcome to join us for the Friday festivities! But not the wedding ceremony and reception so check into your lodging rules on pets and plan accordingly.
