Noelle's 21st birthday had just passed, and she wanted to continue celebrating with some of her cousins. Vanessa and Rigo reached out to Seylin and asked if he could plan a night out in Sacramento for Noelle's birthday. Of course, he was willing to do that; he knew just the right bars to take them to! After a fun night of dancing and drinking, Noelle and Seylin exchanged numbers and the rest is history. Many years later and HERE WE ARE!

Seylin invited Noelle to go visit him in Sacramento, but little did he know that it would be her first time driving out of town. He planned to take her to dinner and have drinks afterward, but on the way there Noelle took a wrong turn. She took the wrong exit and ended up on the opposite end of town at the downtown Amtrak station. She panicked and called Seylin to come meet her. He came to her rescue, and they had their first date at Arigato Sushi, which has become one of their favorite sushi spots.

Seylin graduated from Sacramento State University and soon thereafter they officially started dating. Seylin moved back to Atwater because he felt there was something special about Noelle. His intuition was right 😍

We love to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary by taking a trip out of town. Throughout the years we have been on many trips with our main focus being hiking, site-seeing, beer tasting, concerts, or a combination of any of them. Our favorite brewery is Russian River Brewing Company; Our biggest hiking accomplishment was reaching the summit of Half Dome in 2015; Our most memorable trip anywhere was beautiful France!!!

In February of 2018 we got the keys to our beautiful fixer upper. We learned quickly how much time and effort was put into flipping a house. We also learned how much we loved doing it because seeing the end results were absolutely rewarding knowing we were able to make it our own. Our favorite addition to our home was getting Nia in the summer of 2020. She's been our little princess ever since.

It was Noelle's birthday, and she didn't want to go out to eat at a restaurant because she loves Seylin's cooking THAT MUCH (or because of COVID restrictions ;D ) So Seylin cooked up a nice steak dinner and told Noelle that her birthday gift arrived at her parents' house, and he wanted her to open it that night. Little did Noelle know that Seylin reached out to her family to set up a little surprise. He asked the family to be ready to celebrate Noelle's birthday with drinks and a bonfire in the backyard. With the help of Alyssa and Adriana, the yard was set up with lights, a cake and her "gift". After dinner, we headed to Rich and Mary Anne's house to hang out with the family. As soon as Noelle walked in, she immediately felt suspicious because everyone was dressed up more than usual. To get Noelle to the backyard, Seylin let Nia out and acted like she took off. Being the protective mama she is, Noelle ran outside to make sure her baby was okay only to find her surprise setup. She immediately thought it was setup for a proposal until she saw the "Happy Birthday" balloons. When they finished singing happy birthday, it was time to open her gifts. As she opened her gift from Seylin she saw a bottle of champagne and when she turned around, she saw him down on one knee with the ring.
