We met through mutual friends (and now MOH & groomsman), Sam and Taylor Vandermoss. They both tried telling us how perfect we'd be together for a few months. One night at a group outing, we started talking and spent the whole night focused on each other. Shortly after, we went on our first date and the rest is history!

In October 2020, Sean planned a spontaneous trip to Michigan after finding an Airbnb that allowed dogs. We planned to hike, find the nearest winery, and explore the adorable harbor town, Harbor Springs. Our first full day we went hiking with our dog, Whiskey, at Petoskey State Park. At the highest point on the trail, we were surrounded by trees in full fall foliage and a view over looking Lake Michigan. After cleaning sand off of Whiskey's snout, I turned around to find Sean down on one knee. He asked and I said YES!
