We did not block off rooms as they would have made me sign a contract. This is a decent hotel and at the time I'm writing this, the rooms are $214/night. The prices will likely increase as we get closer to October so I'd recommend booking ASAP if you know you're attending.

Hotwire offers "Hot Rate" options where you basically select the # of hotel stars and a specific geographic area around the specified city. You book it somewhat blindly, but it at least guarantees the hotel star rating and it will often tell you equivalent hotels and sometimes even tell you which hotel the last person who booked that option received. This is a great way to save $$! **warning: the last time we booked this option in Asheville, it gave us a "Smoking" room. Once you find out the hotel name, I'd recommend calling right after to make sure you're selected for a Non-smoking room if that is your preference.

I did go ahead and book a 3 bedroom (+ sunroom with a full size bed) cabin for part of the wedding party if they choose to stay here for Friday and Saturday night. If you wish to stay in the cabin, please contact Chris or myself. It would probably work out to be $120/person for both nights stay, depending on the number of people staying in the house. The cabin is just 1.3 miles from the venue.
