Maeve is not just a cousin to Maranda, but truly a lifelong best friend. They grew up side by side, creating countless memories and sharing endless laughter since they were little. Grace was introduced to Maranda and Noel through her boyfriend, Ben, and it didn’t take long for her to be embraced as part of the friend group. With her energetic, caring, and spunky personality, she quickly became a ray of sunshine, always ready to light up the room—especially when she’s showing off her best dance moves! Fun fact: Grace will be showing off her hair stylist talents on Maranda's wedding hair!
Christina McMaster

Christina is Maranda’s younger sister, and though they were pretty different growing up, their bond has always been unbreakable. Despite their differences, they shared countless fond memories and similar interests, always having each other's backs—whether it was laughing over something silly or teaming up to take down a bully at the bus stop. Their sisterly love has only grown stronger with time! Fun fact: Christina has traveled and worked in many different places, meeting lovely new friends all around the world!
Rory McMaster

Rory is Maranda’s cousin and Maeve’s sister, and though she was once the "little sister" who wasn’t allowed to hang with Maranda and Maeve, she’s certainly not so little anymore—she’s now towering over both of them! These days, Rory is a cherished part of their close friend group and can often be found causing trouble and sharing laughs with Maranda, making up for all those years of missed adventures. Fun fact: Rory helps put on many major events in down town Detroit, including: the Christmas tree lighting, The Draft, and Grand Prix!
Maya Ochoa

Maya is Noel’s younger sister, and she’s not just a wonderful sister, but also a true friend and support to Maranda. Making friends comes so naturally to her, and her loving, caring nature shines through in everything she does. Maya is always there to offer a kind word, but she’s also often found laughing at Noel’s goofiness, bringing even more joy to their circle. Fun fact: Maya has an awesome memory and is often asked by Maranda to "remember this for me".
Steve Thibodeau

Steve is a close friend of Maranda and Noel, having met Noel through work many years ago. Since then, he’s been a wonderful source of support for Noel and has brought a vibrant, fun energy to every event. Steve is always up to something wild, making everyone around him laugh with his antics and infectious spirit. Fun fact: Steve is a master at sneaking into places he probably shouldn’t be, including VIP concert areas, always finding a way to add a little extra excitement to the moment!
Ben Spurlock

Ben met Noel through work many years ago, and their friendship grew even stronger over beers and bonfires while Maranda spent some time in Colorado. Since then, he’s become a wonderful addition to the group, always bringing a calm presence with a subtle sense of humor. Though he may be more reserved than some of the others, his quick, under-the-breath remarks are not to be missed and never fail to bring laughter to Maranda and Noel. Fun fact: Ben loves hunting and hosting friends at his property up north, where countless fond memories have been made and shared with those lucky enough to join him.
Matt Helquist

Matt is a goofy, loving soul who has been a great friend to Maranda and Noel for many years. His energy is infectious, and he’s always ready for the next exciting adventure. Matt is also known for his warm, comforting hugs that always make you feel at home. Fun fact: Matt met Noel at a stoplight, where he tried to race Noel in their souped-up cars. After the race, they followed each other to 7-Eleven, where Matt invited Noel to join him at a car meet, kicking off a friendship that’s been full of laughter and great memories ever since.
Thomas McMaster

Thomas is Maranda’s younger brother, and even though he lives out of state, every time he’s in town it’s always a blast for Maranda and the whole family. Full of wisdom and random fun facts, Thomas is the ultimate trivia partner and never fails to keep the conversation interesting. He also knows how to brighten any mood with his amazing cooking skills, turning every meal into a delightful experience! Fun fact: Thomas works at Yellowstone Park with his girlfriend, Jen, and together, they love hiking at different national parks, where they’ve had the chance to see some incredible wildlife!
Jason Buvet
Groomsman
Jason is one of Noel's closest cousins, even though he lives all the way in Florida. Though they don’t get to see each other as often anymore, every reunion is filled with laughter as they reminisce about old campground days and cherished memories. Fun fact: Jason owns his own anime business and can often be found sharing his creativity and passion at convention centers, spreading his love for all things anime with fellow fans!
Linda McMaster
Mother of the Bride
Linda is Maranda’s mom, and though their relationship hasn’t always been smooth, they’ve grown into the best of friends. Now, they love spending time together, enjoying everything from exercise and pickleball to walking with the dogs, being outdoors, and trying new things. Linda is an incredible support to Maranda, always by her side to help navigate life’s challenges with love and wisdom. Their bond is stronger than ever, filled with laughter, adventure, and endless encouragement. Fun fact: Linda is a Master Gardener (whether or not she believes it), and has been known to sneak over to Maranda and Noel's to plant a few or more things.
Mike McMaster
Father of the Bride
Mike is Maranda’s dad, and they share a special bond built on their shared sense of humor, which fills their time together with laughter, jokes, and plenty of teasing (especially at Linda’s expense). While Mike can be more reserved at times, don’t be fooled—he’s the mastermind behind all the fun and mischief that happens behind the scenes. Fun fact: Mike and Maranda have a unique way of communicating, often using memorized movie lines and their shared humor, which never fails to astonish Linda. Their bond is one filled with laughter, inside jokes, and lots of love.
Dondi Ochoa

Dondi is Noel’s mom, and she is the epitome of care and compassion, always ready to lend a hand and offer thoughtful advice to both Maranda and Noel. Her many talents, especially her creativity and DIY skills, have been a huge help in making this wedding come together beautifully! Fun fact: Dondi has some incredible dance moves that light up the dance floor every time—it's where Noel gets his "hips that don’t lie" from!

Luis is Noel’s dad, and they share so many wonderful interests. He’s always been a steadfast support to Noel, encouraging him in every passion and pursuit. Luis shows his deep love and compassion for both Maranda and Noel in countless ways, whether it’s making a fresh bed for them or driving 45 minutes to let out the dogs—he’s always there to make sure they’re well taken care of. Fun fact: Luis has an impeccable sense of style and is often the one at the store, picking out the perfect gifts for everyone with his keen eye for the best finds!
