Maid of Honor
I stood beside Sarah on her big day, and now about a year later, the roles are reversed! Sarah and I have been friends since middle school and have lived through so many life stages together. One of my favorite things about Sarah is she is unapologetically herself. She's hands-down the most positive person I know, spreading joy and light wherever she goes. Sarah is like a sister to me and words can't describe how thankful I am for her and her amazing family. <3
Best Man
I met my best friend in 2008 when my family adopted Godebo (and Bereket) from Ethiopia. It's impossible to dislike Godebo, with an infectious smile, a servant's heart, and a genuine love for people. He's made it a habit of showing me up, most recently by balancing being a D1 athlete and a mechanical engineering student, but I couldn't be prouder to be this guy's older brother.

This girl is the best thing that came out of COVID!! When I went home for the spring break that never ended, I met Kira and we were instantly glued at the hip. Kira amazes me with her zest for life and adventurous spirit. We share so many fun memories, like mopeding around Hawaii and camping in Santa Barbara too many times to count. Even though she moved to South Carolina, distance has nothing on us! This photo is from the latest SC trip :)
Groomsman
Brennan and I were forced to be friends from the age of 3 by nature of our dads being best friends, but the plan seems to have worked out well. After traveling the world together for a year after high school, we both decided to go to PLNU and have been roommates ever since. Brennan is the adventure leader of the group, always planning trips and get togethers and making sure everyone is included. Ask him about surfing, Dr. Bronners soap, or Manchester United.

Noel's admiration for Isabel was evident from our first few dates, and as I've gotten to know her, I've come to share that admiration. Isabel's kindness and genuine nature instantly made me feel welcomed to the family, even from Canada! Isabel lives in Canada with her husband and they're expecting a baby boy this September. We both love tea, walks, and Kristin Johns!!!! I'm so excited to gain a built-in friend/sister AND become aunt!!
Groomsman
Logan and I hit it off right away, and although Isabel is happy that her husband and brother get along, I'm not sure she anticipated how many inside jokes and goofy moments we would have. Logan is from the great country of Canada and has converted me into a casual Canucks fan. He's incredibly thoughtful, driven, intentional, a phenomenal cook, and someone I go to for advice consistently.
Bridesmaid
Some people think it's bold for me to have my brother's girlfriend in the wedding, but we're living the dream with all of us being besties. Makayla has quickly become a close friend. She is always smiling, laughs easily, and celebrates others so well. She is the world's slowest eater, except when it comes to a medium-rare steak, and is always down to see another musical with me. I am so thankful for this friend who is basically family ;)
Groomsman
Similar to Logan, I don't think Jamie was prepared for the friendship that would develop between Charlie and me. When I stayed in SD for my senior year at PLNU after Jamie had moved away for grad school, Charlie and I spent time together often (Jamie had serious FOMO). Charlie is confident, outgoing, and knows where he wants to go in life. He's planning on a career in the film industry, so feel free to ask him for a few recommendations.

Bereket, my soon-to-be sister, is an absolute joy to be around. Her kindness and fun-loving spirit light up every room she enters! But don't be fooled, this girl is a serious competitor when it comes to Ethiopian food... I am determined to give her a run for her money one day ;) With Ket, there's never a dull moment. I'm so excited to spend more time with her and for all the memories to come <3
Groomsman
Winton and I met in Bible school in Costa Rica and I somehow convinced him to move to San Diego during COVID. Life with Winton is always fun and I am so grateful for his constant friendship and openness to new things. He's a world traveler, with almost as many countries under his belt as tattoos on his body (ask him about both). Some of my fondest memories from college include late nights playing pool with Winton and sunny days tossing around the baseball on the beach.
Bridesmaid
I am so thankful to have known Anna since middle school-- she is truly like sunshine in human form. Her sweet, tender-hearted nature shines through everything she does. I deeply admire Anna's unwavering strength and perseverance, and ability to not take life so seriously. Over the last 2ish years, Anna and I have loved our breaks from PT/OT school hanging at the beach and enjoying happy hour :)
Groomsman
Soren and I met freshman year at PLNU and he quickly became one of my closest friends. He is selfless, kind, and always makes the people around him feel cared for, tokens of his Midwest upbringing. As an artist, Soren is always working on a handful of different projects, including being an amateur tattoo artist (his permanent art can be seen on at least 5 guests at the wedding).
Bridesmaid
I met Jillian our first week of freshmen year at Point Loma. This red-headed beauty is the most selfless, servant-hearted person I know. Jillian has a way of making everyone feel like her best friend from the moment they meet her. She is SO fun-- she's the best line dancer, wake surfer, and most compassionate NICU nurse. I am so grateful for the happiness and light she brings into my life!!
Groomsman
I met Josiah during my freshman year at PLNU. He stood out as being one of the most stylish gentlemen to walk to the campus streets. Josiah is constantly curious, always genuine, and exceptionally intelligent. You can find him with his nose in a good book, writing poetry, running through the neighborhoods of Point Loma, or listening to music of all genres. Josiah is a friend I go to when I need a unique perspective and an intentional conversation.
Bridesmaid
I met Aeriel on a mission trip to Bali in 2019 and we instantly became close friends/travel gals. The second time we hung out we went to Hawaii, but it was our 4-week backpacking endeavor throughout Europe that has been our favorite! I am so blessed by this friendship; she is a constant source of encouragement and love. Now, our adventures have expanded to include our guys. Whether it's double dates or weekend trips to Santa Barbara, every moment feels like we're living the dream<3
Groomsman
I met Cameron when he subleased a room in my house during college. We made fast friends and spent much of our free time together that summer. He loves a good steak, craft cocktails, the Chicago Bears, and a perfect pour-over coffee. Cam is a professional model for an agency in LA, but don't try anything ladies, he's a married man. He now lives in Hume, CA, but our friendship continues across facetime and he remains a valuable person in my life.
