Your participation in this weekend is gift enough. However, if you feel compelled to do something on our behalf, we encourage you to consider making a donation to one of our selected charities. The Human Rights Campaign https://www.hrc.org The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights https://www.chirla.org/get-involved/donate-support/give-today/ The Natural Resource Defense Council https://www.nrdc.org
A member of the wedding party will welcome you upon arrival and provide guidance to your accommodations (if you are staying on-site) or direct you to any ongoing wedding events.
AT&T wireless devices typically have reliable coverage on our campus, while Verizon service may be inconsistent. For emergencies, a landline phone is available in the Fireside Room at Rosemary Inn.
WiFi is available in the main buildings; however, connectivity may be intermittent.
Meals are casual and served buffet-style near the dining hall. Sack lunches can be packed during the breakfast meal to take on your adventures. Snacks will be available throughout the day.
Regrettably, Olympic National Park permits camping only in designated areas (NatureBridge is not one of them). The nearest campgrounds include Fairholme Campground (approximately 6–8 miles west of campus along Highway 101), Shadow Mountain Campground (approximately 6–8 miles east of campus along Highway 101), and Log Cabin Resort Campground (approximately 8 miles from campus on East Beach Road).
We can gladly accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free dietary needs. Please inform us as soon as possible if you have specific dietary restrictions. For guests staying on campus, a refrigerator is available near the kitchen for storing your own specialty needs and small food items.
For the ceremony, please dress smart-casual or however you feel comfortable. Collars and long pants encouraged but not mandatory. No swim suits, tank tops or athletic wear. No dress code for the rest of the weekend. Bring layers, functional footwear, and *hopefully* sunglasses.
Due to the wildfire risk in the Pacific Northwest, regulations will be determined by seasonal forest guidelines. Please refrain from using fireworks or sparklers, and dispose of cigarette butts in designated waste containers.
We will be having our wedding ceremony, dinner and celebration the afternoon/evening of August 30th. The rest of the weekend is free time! There will be group activities and meals you may want to be present for, but we encourage you to explore the area. See the "Things to Do" tab for ideas, or we are available for specific recommendations.
Congrats on reading this far! If you are invited to the wedding, you have our phone number. Ask us anything. We are going to have a great time!
