Start your day off in Dupont Circle at 350 Bakery or Un je ne sais Quoi, some of our favorite bakeries in DC. Afterwards, explore the Dupont Circle and Logan Circle neighborhoods. For lunch, we recommend checking out Le Diplomate - a classic DC hotspot. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the amazing ambiance. Try to get a reservation in advance. Otherwise, the wait can be a bit long. Afterwards, explore 14th Street. We love Aslin Brewery for a late coffee or early drink! For dinner, make your way back north to Adams Morgan. We recommend Lapis, an Afghan restaurant with delicious dumplings, salads, and barbecued meat. We recommend making a reservation in advance. End the night at Green Zone - their frozen mint lemonade is amazing as both a mocktail and a cocktail!
Fuel up at Yellow Bakery with a honey halva latte and any one of their amazing baked goods. Afterwards, explore M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. While you're still in Georgetown, stop by Stachowski's Market to pick up sandwiches for a picnic lunch. Their sandwiches are pretty big, so one should be enough for two people. Head down to the waterfront to eat! After lunch, walk alongside the Potomac River towards Foggy Bottom to explore more classic DC sights. From Georgetown, you can easily get to the Tidal Basin and numerous memorials (Lincoln, WWII, MLK Jr., Vietnam War). After exploring Foggy Bottom and the western edge of the National Mall, head north back towards Dupont Circle. For dinner near Foggy Bottom, you cannot beat Rasika - one of DC's best Indian restaurants. We recommend getting a reservation in advance. End the night at one of the many bars lining 18th Street north of Dupont Circle. We love Bar Charley and Vagabond!
Start off your day at by picking up bagels and coffee Pearl's Bagels. We recommend ordering ahead online, otherwise the wait can be a bit long. After you pick them up, head to the National Portrait Gallery and find your way to the Kogod Courtyard - one of our favorite spots in DC - and enjoy the surrounds while you eat. After, explore the museum. We love the presidential portrait exhibit! After you've worked up an appetite, head south to the National Mall. We recommend grabbing a quick bite to eat at the cafe in the National Sculpture Garden. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. After lunch, explore the National Gallery and Modern Art Museum. For dinner, check out Zaytinya, a Mediterranean restaurant started by Jose Andres. This is one of our favorite resturants in DC. We recommend making a reservation in advance. End the night with a drink at Crimson, a rooftop bar with stunning views of DC.
Start your day with a visit to the Library of Congress - one of the most beautiful buildings in DC. After enjoying the exhibits, head over to the Madison Building, where you can have lunch in the top-floor cafeteria with amazing views of the Capitol complex. After lunch, either take a quick peek inside the Supreme Court or check out the U.S. Botanic Garden, both located just steps from the Capitol. From there, spend the afternoon wandering the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Make your way toward Eastern Market, where you can browse through produce stands, art vendors, or flea market stalls. If you need a little pick-me-up before dinner, try Peregrine Espresso. For dinner, we recommend Duck & The Peach for dinner, a polished yet cozy spot near Eastern Market. To end the day, enjoy a cocktail at the Wells, a gin bar around the corner from Duck and the Peach.

Afterwards, head down Shoreham Drive to get into Rock Creek Park. Follow signage for the National Zoo and enjoy a peaceful walk as you make your way to the Harvard Street Bridge entrance to the Zoo. Spend the morning exploring the zoo - we love the giant pandas! End your visit at the main entrance/exit on Connecticut Avenue. For a late lunch, head right across the street to Duke's Counter for amazing burgers in an British-style pub. Afterwards, wind your way back to Adams Morgan and the LINE Hotel through the Cleveland Park and Woodley Park neighborhood. After exploring on foot for a long time, take some time to relax in lobby of the LINE, which offers delicious cocktails and coffee. For dinner, we recommend Reveler's Hour, a pasta-focused restaurant with a fantastic wine list. We recommend getting a reservation in advance!
