Our (in)complete list of restaurants and bars to go to in New Orleans. Look but don't touch. But whatever you do, tell us where and what you've eaten once you're in town.
Noa went there in October 2014 to pretend she wasn't a student for a day. It basically saved her freshman year and we've always loved it ever since. Best place in the city to see Southern art!
Miles' grandfather, who served in WWII in Europe, has a dedicated brick outside. The rest of the museum is even more interesting than the brick.
If you can believe it, the Saints will be playing at home vs the Cleveland Browns the day after our wedding. If you can rouse yourself from your stupor, and you are callous enough to leave our post-wedding brunch early, there's no better football-watching experience than seeing a game at the Superdome. They'll almost definitely be bad, too, so tickets could be on the cheap side!
Walk around the sculpture garden to see if you can find the art that looks exactly like Noa's dog-nephew, Sal. Avoid the ponds where a crocodile once almost snacked on Noa's dog-nephew, Sal.
Noa went to a bar here, on New Orleans' best street for live music, in August 2014 to pretend she wasn't under drinking age. When asked how old she was, she said 19. She still got served! Best spots include the Spotted Cat, DBA, and Blue Nile.
Go on a swamp tour if you can! Cajun Encounters, Ultimate Swamp Adventures, and Airboat Tours by Arthur (a little farther out of town) are some good options. We cannot be held responsible for any fingers eaten while lobbing marshmallows at alligators.
Beautiful park across the street from Tulane University, where our newlyweds met. Noa took Miles on a walk around Audubon Park early on in their freshman year, and they saw Matthew McConaughey. During their sophomore year, Noa once saw Tom Cruise and he told her to "stay in school." Who knows who you might see!
This was a test to see if anyone is still reading this. Don't go to the Escape Room it is only ok.
