Matron of Honor
Ride or die. The one who gets me. Partner in crime - all words to describe my best friend. There is a saying that goes: you don’t get to pick who you are related to. But I know that you do get to choose who your family is, and she is my family. She knows everything about me. She's my biggest cheerleader and supporter. I don’t know how my life would be if she wasn't in it, but I am certain it wouldn’t be as fun. She's had my back since day 1 when we met in college. We've been to through it all, the good and bad, many ups and downs, moves across states and even babies! Though we are miles apart we always find a way to pick up where we left off. Can't wait to celebrate this special day with you by my side!
Best Man
My oldest friend. We met at the bus stop when we were 5 years old and for the past 32 years he has been supporting and strengthening me through every hardship while laughing and cheering every joy. There is no man I'd rather have to help usher me into a new phase of life.
Bridesmaid
Meredith and I met at in 2018 at co-ed softball league both realizing shortly after we only joined for the free pizza at the end of every game! From then on we became fast friends, living around the corner from each other in Lakeview and connecting over 90's hip hop classics. She's a true definition of a great friend and as the Beatles once said "I get by with a little help from my friends". Always leaning on her for advice I'm truly grateful to have her in my life!
Groom
We've walked through ancient forests, saw the lights of some of the greatest cities in the world and tasted the best food this life has to offer. The ultimate vacation buddy, board games teammate and listener, Jacob is the man I want as my support as I walk down that aisle.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and I met when I went to visit Nick's family for the first time in Michigan! Nervous to meet Nick's family, she welcomed me with open arms and a warm smile only a sister-in-law could bring. Her constant reassurance and love; she is someone truly special. She's Nick's only sister, and a proud dog mama to the cutest doodle, Brinkley. It's so very special to know that she will be a part of our day and I never imagined that I would end up with an amazing sister-in-law like her!
Groomsman
In my early days of working in schools, and the students were educating me about what really goes on in the work, when the stress of the job was nearly too much to handle, Kyle entered my life and from then on he has supported me in my lowest times, walked with me through some of the darkest places and propped me up when I could hardly stand. The ultimate video game buddy is also the also the ultimate groomsman. Kyle is exactly who I need when I stand before everyone and confess my love.
Officiant
Brandon was my (Nick) roommate when we first started dating. He was the first to hear about how perfect she was and how well we got alone. He saw us as we grew closer together by the day. He was even our short-lived roommate when we moved in together. He saw every stage of the relationship and new all the secret engagement plans. He watched and supported every part of this relationship and there is no better person to have make this marriage official.
