We only get married once and we want to do it in style! Please try to stay within the black tie dress code which means long formal dresses for the women and tuxedos for the men.
This evening will be cocktail attire which is typically a cocktail or short formal dress for women and a suit coat for the men. No need to wear a tie if you don't want to.
We will be providing transportation from each hotel block (Hotel Washington and Hilton Garden Inn Downtown) to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception and back to each hotel block from the reception. A detailed schedule for pick up times will be provided as we get closer to October.
Not far! The ride will take about 15 minutes.
Absolutely not! We are going to have transportation provided to each guest from the ceremony to the wedding reception.
No! Feel free to get there however you'd like, but it will be there if you need it.
Of course not! Stay wherever you feel most comfortable.
No! Any guests who opted not to stay at the hotel blocks are welcome to come to the hotels at the pick up times we will providing as we get closer to utilize the transportation.
You may get to the ceremony and reception however you please, but parking at the church where the ceremony will be held is extremely limited. There is a parking garage in the same building as the reception, but since it is operated by a third party you will have to pay for parking. Street parking near the reception is also extremely limited.
For those that were provided a plus one option on their RSVP, yes you may bring one. However, if this option was not provided to you on your RSVP then unfortunately no. As much as we would love to welcome anyone to celebrate with us, we simply can't as I am sure you can understand for several reasons. We are very sorry!
In Washington D.C., October tends to be a very mild month with temperatures ranging from the 50s-60s in the early mornings and 60s-70s during the day. We recommend checking the weather a week or so prior just to be sure.
