I have known my older sister, Nkiru since I was born exactly 1 year and 10 months after her - a distinction that somehow came as a surprise to wider family friends and acquaintances, but one she definitely NEVER let me forget lol. Through fights over who wore whose clothes growing up, but then also through joyful moments being her biggest cheerleader at her graduation - I am so pleased to be able to celebrate another joyful milestone in her life. Obi aka Obi 1 aka Obi SNIPES has been both a brother to me and a brother to my good friend Chibu. I first met both brothers in Ireland in the early 2000s and we have since shared many memorable times and even business relationships. Chibu and I went on to start Ireland’s first African promotions company “CC promotions” in 2005. Promoting African culture and further integrating Africans in the diaspora into the Irish society and vice versa. Obi has always been easy going, honest, funny and a positive energy for us all. Having met our incoming wife Nkiru, I can say this is truly a match made in heaven. Both spirits genuinely compliment each other and their wedding day serves as only the beginning of a fruitful relationship, By the grace of God. We all pray and look forward to their strong union for many many decades to come.

I met Obi and his brother Chibu in Dublin 1998. It was my 1st time in the country and I had no friends out there. Due to the fact that we were few blacks, I met these two Nigerian brothers living in a luxury hotel in the heart of dublin. I had to befriend them because I had never seen people book hotel rooms for 3 years but if you know their mom, She was very protective of her sons. Obi is a very caring human with a bubbly personality, We ended up from friends becoming almost like brothers and we watched out for one another. I am sure all he needed was Nkiru which I am delighted as I see she is a very strong hardworking woman with focus and ambition. In a nutshell I ended up moving to the uk but the friendship has lasted the test of time. I wish Obi every happiness the world has to offer

I met Obi at University (DIT Aungier Street) in Dublin, Ireland. We happened to be the only two Africans (that year at least) in the university and in the same course. What’re the chances of that!!! Obi boldly came up to me probably on the second day or so and literally said “Hi, I am Obi, you are black and I am black, let’s hang out together” and the rest is history…
