Kelsey Krohn
Maid of Honor
Kallee and Kelsey met in 2004 their freshman year of high school in Austin, TX. She is, by her own a free spirit which immediately brought them together. Their friendship blossomed over volleyball which they played together throughout their high school years, partying into the wee hours and their love for music. When Kallee decided to move to San Jose, CA in 2007 she knew their friendship wouldn’t change, just the miles between them. They would make an effort to see each other at least once a year whether traveling to music festivals together or Kallee going home to visit family. The long history and sisterly bond was a no brainer for Kelsey to take on the role as her Maid of Honor.
Kevin Wallin
Best Man
Kevin and Sam met in early 2004 when Kevin indoctrinated Sam into the “Bernal Kids” group of friends at Santa Teresa high school, as a “Herman” middle school outsider, this was a crazy, but accepting group of young adults. Kevin and Sam instantly became close friends, hanging out every single day at the bench by Senior Hill. Over time, through sports, film-making, and the occasional adult beverage, a bond was built that has lasted over 15 years. A bond of friendship forged by trips to the “spot”, endless “shibby” material provided very graciously by Kevin, and countless victories by “Sevin” in the beer pong arena, each day this bond grows stronger, even as the responsibilities of adulthood pull us further apart. Kevin Wallin is Sam’s best friend and best man.
Lindsay Wallin

Kallee met Lindsay through Sam and his best man, Kevin who were dating at the time and now are happily married. Lindsay remembers when Sam told her he was bringing a girl to her house party she was throwing back in 2011, which was completely out of the blue. She later confessed how happy she was Kallee and Sam became a couple, so she didn’t have to be the only girl in the group of guys anymore! Their relationship came so naturally from the start. Lindsay is such an easy-going person with a hilarious personality, Kallee knew she was a going to be a friend for life and above all a bridesmaid!
Tony Funston
Groomsman
Tony and Sam met in early 2004, when Tony’s energy was as abundant as his luscious hairline. Tony exposed himself, often, but also exposed Sam to a whole new world of bodily endangerment, dive bars, and film making techniques. During high school Tony was the ring leader of the “rival” film making group “Over the Edge” to Sam’s “TheVoid” Productions. The two fostered a friendly competition throughout high school and took great pleasure in seeing the success in each other’s work. Tony and Sam’s friendship has grown with their shared love of “bad” 90’s movies, ESPN 8-like sporting activities, and their shared suffering in attempting to take down BAMF. Tony and Sam have stuck together, through the good times and the bald, and throughout it all they remain the best of friends.
Daffne Hart

Daffne and Kallee’s friendship took off when she invited her to her bachelorette in Las Vegas of 2015. Some say you can really get to know someone when you travel with them, in this case they were right. Daffne is the one you want to have around when you need to hit the dance floor or when a photo shoot ensues but above all she is someone you can always confide in. She reminds you to stay true to who you are and to always be honest with yourself and others. These qualities will hold tight forever.
Corey Hart
Groomsman
Corey and Sam met in early 2004, as sophomore’s in high school. Corey was a longtime friend of many of the Bernal Kids when they met, but Sam instantly connected with Corey on many personality traits, including composure and maturity which allowed them to grow close throughout high school. Sam was there for many important milestones in Corey’s life, when Corey asked his future wife Daffne to be his girlfriend, when Corey took his first shot of hard alcohol, when Corey finally got rid of his toy-car, all hilariously entertaining moments, but important nonetheless. Corey and Sam have grown closer after high school and have strengthened their bond through fantasy football, downtown adventures, and their shared love of the Fast & Furious movie franchise.
Angie Bursese

Everyone needs an Angie their lives. Kallee and Angie became close through Lindsay and instantly knew Angie was that kind of person who would always be there for you. Never any judgments, has a heart of gold and always reminds you to “let your freak flag fly”! Her ability to keep cool in a stressful situation is the perfect person to have around on your wedding day as well as knowing how to put together the best day of wedding survival kit anyone could ask for. Angie is one of a kind and Kallee is so honored to have her standing beside her May 16th, 2020.
Jason Bursese
Groomsman
Jason and Sam have known each other since early 2004, since they met, Jason has always marched to the beat of his own drum. They united initially over football, but a strong bond was forged over their shared interests in death metal and facepain…wait. Anyway since their friendship blossomed in high school, Jason has been a technical wizard to help Sam bring all of his wildest dreams to fruition. Whether that be Jason tolerating Sam’s ramblings on a weekly basis to produce his podcasts or putting the finishing touches on the groomsmen’s messages themselves. Jason has always been a great sounding board to joint-create wonderful pieces of art that will be cherished for days by tens of people.
Vanessa Hatzenpiller
Bridesmaid
Vanessa became Kallee’s very first friend in San Jose in 2007 when they both were taking a Women’s Studies class at West Valley Collage together and the rest was history! Kallee is so appreciative of their friendship, it was tough moving to a new state and not knowing anyone, but Vanessa took her under her wing and before long they were besties. Vanessa and Kallee both watched each other grow into the women they are today and could not imagine their lives without each other. It was only fitting her stand beside her on one of the most monumental days of her life.
Alex Green
Groomsman
Sam has known Alex, almost all of Alex’s life. They grew up together, forging bonds through made up games in the playroom of their childhood home on Madison Drive. As his younger brother, Alex has had to deal with a lot of parties (Sorry Jeanne) and adult situations thrust upon him by his older brother. Alex has always been there for Sam, he has supported Sam, and put up with lessons Sam tries to impart onto his younger brother. Sam will always cherish the time spent with his brother, through their choreographed karate fights to impress their mother, to the games of basketball on the neighbor’s hoop, to watching Alex get his first sack on the high school varsity team. Sam is very proud to have his brother next to him on the most important day of his life.
Kelly Arellano

Kelly and Kallee fell in love during her bachelorette to San Diego of 2016. One of the kindest and loving people around. Kelly has shown so much love to Kallee over the past few years and has meant so much to her. She has watched her marry the man of her dreams and bring a beautiful baby boy into the world. Learning the world of balance and keeping true to her individuality is something to look up to. One can be so lucky to have someone like Kelly in their life when it’s their turn for all the 1st.
Alex Gomez
Groomsman
One of Sam’s longest friendships, Gomez and Sam sparked their friendship through friendly competition on the basketball courts of Herman Middle School in 2001. Early on, they connected on such classic media as “South Park” and “Chappelle Show”. Once they transitioned to Santa Teresa High School, they became brothers on the Girdiron. Some of the greatest nights in Sam’s memory were made in Gomez’s garage, many madden championships, many long high-school football film sessions, many costume parties. Gomez and Sam have always shared a bond in athletics, media, and dark humor, and Sam couldn’t envision a groomsmen party without G$.
Vicki Tran

Vicki and Kallee were acquaintances before they became friends, they both were looking for a new living situation and mutual friends thought they would make great roommates! They moved in together in 2013 with both their doggies, Harley and Ace and learned so much from each other. Vicki thought her the value of her voice, how to drink whiskey neat and not to settle for anything less than she deserves. These are the qualities of one badass bridesmaid Kallee is so honored to have standing next to her.
Jimmy Aiello

James and Sam have known each other since early 2004, during this time they have shared many avenues of companionship, football, filmmaking, video games, strong alcohol, and providing questionable commentary over campy shows/movies. James and Sam shared a strong bond that led them to become roommates for almost 4 years. These two gentlemen share many interests and typically make quite the dynamic duo when pwning noobs or throwing back liquor. Through their time in high school, to their adventures in the Hobbit House, to finally their eyes in the hills, these Void members have continued to keep their friendship strong through thick and thin.
Denea Smith

Denea and Kallee met back in 2013 at a 4th of July party, what better way to become friends than celebrating America! She got to know Denea more in the months to come and realized this girl was a blast to be around. She is the "John to her Claire, her Sporty Spice to her Posh Spice” Denea has always been a go with the flow kind of person which is a quality any bride would love to have in her bridesmaid on her wedding day.
Alex Slater

Alex and Sam have known each other since early 2004, they have always connected over their love of sports, as avid football and basketball fans and fantasy owners, this fiery passion has really stoked the friendship throughout the years. Alex never fails to make Sam laugh with his creativity, sense of humor, and petty nature. Alex and Sam united under shared interests of late night Madden sessions, 12 hour long Sunday football days followed by the newest episodes of Entourage, and their weekly recaps of each episode of Game of Thrones. Alex always brings joy into the room (except when the Cowboys lose) and Sam cherishes every moment spent with his precious Tishy now that he lives across state lines.
Narbalsinder “Noor” Sandhu

Sam and Narbalsinder “Noor” Sandhu were acquaintances in high school, but with Noor being appreciably older than Sam, the connection between these two was really forged after high school. You will be hard pressed to find two tan gentlemen who riff off of one another better than Sam and Noor. These two have bonded over their love of the intricacies of NFL football, their love of “cheezy” 80’s-90’s action movies, and the quotable lines therein. These two podcasters always provide a Dual Threat when it comes to knowledge and laughs. Noor’s well-spoken nature not only leads him to be a very important podcast partner and member of the groomsman team, but Noor is also expected to stay sober enough to be the officiant at Sam and Kallee’s wedding.
