Travel

We understand many of you will be traveling in from other parts of the country as well as from outside of the country. We wanted to provide information on several ways to travel to Savannah. Downtown Savannah has an array of beautiful options for your stay if you choose not to book at the Westin. There is a free ferry from River Street directly to the resort. The Savannah Belles Ferry provides free passage across the Savannah River between downtown’s riverwalk and Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The accessible ferries operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. Uber is readily available at all times of the day/night in Savannah as well.

Flight

FLYING INTO SAVANNAH, GA (SAV)

Savannah, GA does have an airport! If you are looking to spare yourself a drive, this could be the option for you!

Flight

FLYING INTO JACKSONVILLE, FL (JAX)

Another option you might want to investigate is flying into Jacksonville, FL and driving two hours north up the coast to Savannah. While interstate 95 is a pretty direct route, you would have the opportunity to take a detour and enjoy some of the Florida and Georgia Barrier Islands such as Cumberland, Jekyll, and St. Simon's Islands.

Flight

FLYING INTO ATLANTA, GA (ATL)

Atlanta is approximately a 4-hour drive from Savannah, so if you don't mind a bit of a drive, this could be a good option for you. A bit of a warning about the drive from Atlanta to Savannah: IT IS BORING. There is a lot of beautiful country to see along the way, but don't expect there to be many great places to stop.

Accommodations

For those not staying at the venue, there are a number of options for accommodations within Savannah and beyond. Beginning closest to the venue and moving further out: 1. River Street: There are many hotels along the riverfront as well as plenty of shopping, drinking, and nightlife. These hotels tend to be more expensive and require additional fees for parking. 2. Historic District North: This area is more of your commercial downtown Savannah. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, public squares, as well as attractions. You will find a variety of hotels. There is metered street parking. 3. Historic District South: This area tends to be more residential than Historic District North. You will find the famous Forsyth Park, many public squares, tree-lined streets, cobbled roads, and historic homes. There will be fewer hotel options but more Airbnb/Vrbo options. There is metered parking available at a lesser cost. 4. Victorian District: This is a trendy suburb adjacent to Forsyth Park and home to SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). There are more Airbnb/Vrbo options and a few hotel options. There is metered street parking.
