Maid of Honor
Nithya met Sameera in her first year of college at Rutgers. They quickly became inseparable. Sameera became Nithya's college roommate for 3 years and they made so many fun & hilarious memories together. They became even closer when Nithya moved away for medical school. Sameera is the first person Nithya calls when she has good or bad life news. They have gone through some of their highest highs and lowest lows in their twenties together and they have stood by each other as a pillar of support for 10+ years.
Best Man
Paolo is Jordan's older brother and best friend. Paolo has been Jordan's first role model from a young age. They grew up bonding over hockey. Jordan quickly followed in Paolo's footsteps as he decided to pursue medicine and attended the same medical school. If Jordan is on his phone he is most likely texting his brother. Paolo has been & continues to be a source of inspiration, guidance, and support to Jordan over the years.
Bridesmaid
Patricia is the groom's older sister. Patricia knows how to fill every room with her fun-loving, kind-hearted, and welcoming personality. When Nithya met Patricia in 2016 she could not believe how lucky Jordan was to have her as a sister. Patricia immediately embraced Nithya as part of their family. She has brought Jordan and Nithya to several places around the city to have new experiences and find happiness even in difficult academic times. Patricia is every woman's goal to be, she is intelligent, charismatic, successful (as a lawyer and as a mother), and finds a way to make every person she interacts with feel seen. Nithya is so happy she gets to call Patircia her future sister-in law.
Groomsman
Kishan is the Bride's younger brother. He is 8 years younger than the Bride but despite this age gap, they remain very close. The bride considers Kishan her first best friend. Although he is younger than the Bride, he has been a role model & inspiration to her. He has been a sounding board to the Bride and gives the best advice any sister could ask for. Jordan met Kishan 6 years ago and immediately knew that anyone so important to the Bride would be equally important to him as well. Jordan is more than excited to gain another brother.
Bridesmaid
Jerica is the groom's sister-in-law. Nithya met Jerica in 2016 and was instantly taken by Jerica's gentle, strong, and gracious personality. Nithya would at times confide in Jerica about how to maintain a long-distance relationship because she had done so with her husband (Jordan's brother Paolo) while he was also in medical school. Although Nithya and Jerica live far apart, Nithya has watched Jerica transform herself into a wonderful mother to two of Nithya's favorite boys. Jerica has been a role model for Nithya showing her that it is possible to manage a career and be a hands-on mother. It was clear to Nithya that while Jerica makes it look easy, she works hard to maintain her beautiful life. Nithya is beyond excited to gain another sister.
Groomsman
Tim is Jordan's brother-in-law. Since the time Tim met Jordan he treated him as his own little brother. He brings a charismatic playful energy to everyroom. He made both Jordan and Nithya feel like family. Tim and Jordan spend a lot of time making Micheladas together and make fun of each other lovingly.
Bridesmaid
Nithya saw Carmen's face on their new residency class roster and knew they would be friends. They began to work together during their PGY-1 & PGY-2 years, learning from each other, and bettering each other. They quickly became inseparable, from constant facetimes, sleepovers at each other's houses, doggie playdates, and stuffing themselves with food. Nithya loves Carmens extremely driven personality always seeking to be the best version of herself. She pushes Nithya to have that same drive both academically and in life. She somehow finds the way to excel academically, but a wonderful dog mom to her two kiddos, be the most thoughtful and caring friend and be an insanely sweet and unwavering daughter. Nithya is lucky to have someone like Carmen in her life. Swetha, Maria, and Carmen ar the reason Nithya considers Michigan her home.
Groomsman
Rishi and Jordan met in the 4th grade and have been inseparable ever since. Rishi was Jordan's first Indian friend. They have shared countless memories growing up together. Jordan has watched Rishi become a successful lawyer, marry the love of his life, and become a father. They share a similar sense of humor, the same dating anniversary (Feb 13th), and almost the same birthday. Rishi is Jordan's oldest friend as they have been close for 20+ years.
Bridesmaid
Nithya met Krishna in her first year of college. Krishna was one of Nithya's biggest role models in college. She encouraged Nithya to work hard academically to achieve her goal of becoming a doctor. A lot of the drive and passion Nithya has towards medicine was influenced & inspired by Krishna. Through college, Krishna was known as Glasses Krishna because of how hard she studied to become a highly successful optometrist. In all the 10+ years of their friendship, they have built a meaningful strong relationship, sharing laughs, fun nights out, life milestones, and difficult life events. Their relationship has grown stronger with time.
Groomsman
Cris and Jordan met at the University of California, Davis. They quickly bonded as transfer students. They have made so many memories together partying in college, camping along the coast of California, and celebrating special life milestones together. Cris and Jordan have maintained a 7+ year friendship and have been there through the highs and lows of their twenties.
Bridesmaid
Nithya and Bianca met in their first year of college. Their relationship really sparked when they lived together in the Busch Suites. They have shared countless memories of laughing and playing pranks on each other in the suites. They shared so many meals together eating their favorite Thai food and bubble tea. Bianca always motivated Nithya to be her most authentic self. Their relationship also grew after Nithya and Bianca parted ways to both attend medical school. They shared their journey of medical school together and connected even further through accomplishing their goals during some of the most difficult years of their lives.

Nithya met Saba in their first year of college. Nithya grew fond of Saba's charismatic personality and found herself always sitting in Saba & Bianca's shared room to spend more quality time with them. Saba and Nithya connected in their love for food, their similar sense of humor, and their love for a good time. Saba and Nithya share a deep emotional connection, so much so, that Nithya considers Saba her soul sister. They have shared countless laughs and countless tears only to find their relationship become deeper and deeper. Now Saba is a kick-ass lawyer living in Los Angles California.

Manik and Jordan met during their PGY-1 year of family medicine residency. They became close quite quickly sharing their love for Indian food, hockey, adventures, and whiskey. The bride even feels jealous of their strong bond sometimes. Manik has been a very good friend to both Jordan and Nithya and is almost a 3rd member of the couple's home.

Nithya met Ankita in their first year of college. Ankita was the very first friend Nithya ever made in college. She has a bubbly infectious kind personality that everyone is drawn to. Ankita introduced Nithya to several of her friends who quickly became some of Nithya's closest friends. Ankita has always been a loyal loving friend bringing warmth and sunshine to any room. She helped Nithya through some emotional times and has always been and continues to be a kind soul to lean on. Ankita is now living her best life in NYC as an entrepreneur in the beauty and food world.
Groomsman
Abdul and Jordan met in their first year of residency. They enjoyed spending time together and motivating each other during their intern year. Abdul has been a very supportive friend, offering a helping hand (or muscles) on more than one occasion. Abdul was even the photographer for the bride and groom's engagement in Detriot. He first-hand witnessed the bride's ugly cry, and if that does say how close they are, then we don't know what does.
Bridesmaid
Hiral and Nithya met in their first year of college. They became close in their 3rd & 4th years of college. Hiral was the "mom" of their friend group, looking after everyone at all times. Nithya and Hiral shared similar views on romance and love. Hiral helped Nithya learn to think with not just her heart but also her mind. She helped Nithya grow into a more mature and thoughtful person. They have shared very significant milestones together, most notably Hiral's intimate engagement in Miami Florida.

Nithya met Maria during their residency training in psychiatry. Nithya fell in love with Maria's quirky personality as a plant mom, a rave gal, and a nature lover. She has a larger-than-life personality and inspires Nithya to live her life with happiness, excitement, and joy. She makes every person feel loved deeply. Not to mention she is a wonderful future psychiatrist. Swetha, Maria, and Carmen are the reason Nithya considers Michigan her home.
Bridesmaid
Nithya met Swetha during their residency training in psychiatry. They quickly bonded over being Telugu, their long-distance relationships, and their love for psychiatry. They lived in the same apartment building and made a lot of memories together. Nithya loved Swetha's ability to bring people together, stay positive during difficult times, and celebrate happy moments. Nithya's residency experience would not have been the same without Swetha. With each year of residency, they grow even closer. Friends like Swetha, Maria, and Carmen are why Nithya considers Michigan her home.
