If it weren't for Deepa's prescient oldest sister wisdom, Nisha would not have her name (its true - she was thisclose to being named Ruchi). Growing up, Nisha looked up to Deepa so much, she eventually usurped her room, much to Deepa's college-age chagrin. This pattern continued as Nisha followed in Deepa's footsteps by also marrying a tall, brown-haired dude from her hometown. Aside from being an excellent name generator and sister-role model, Deepa is a leading doctor, professor, researcher, mom, and scrapbooking maven. If you can pull her away from wrangling our two nephews at the wedding, you might ask Deepa what's changed at Anthony's Pier 9. After all, she got married there first!
TJ Callinan

Like his dad before him, Kieran is happy to continue the Callinan tradition of honoring his older brother as his best man. Over the years, Kieran and TJ have shared many experiences together. They were roommates for 16 years, little league teammates for four years, high school carpool companions for one year, and college buddies for two years. Most recently, Kieran and TJ are enjoying another experience together - being fiancés. The first of the Callinan siblings to get engaged, TJ is planning his wedding to his fiancée Amanda in October 2020. He's an avid Jets and Knicks fan and a third generation Con Edison employee. If you find TJ drinking a Corona and lime by the outdoor bar at the wedding, ask him what he thinks of the latest Knicks draft pick.
Sheela Prasad

When Sheela and Nisha weren't making up songs or scaring each other by pretending to be aliens (okay, that was more Nisha scaring Sheela), they actually had a lot of sisterly fun. Sheela is a Teach for America exec, yoga teacher and activist. She has lived in India, New York and currently resides in Phoenix where she enjoys hiking and botanical gardens. If you see her on the dancefloor at the wedding, ask if she can lead you into a pyramid formation from her cheerleading days (Go RCK High!)
Brendan Callinan

Even though Brendan is Kieran's younger brother, Kieran always secretly looked up to his cool little bro. As the resident ginger of the Callinan family, Brendan spends his time playing Fortnite, posting sweet Snaps to his frat brahs, and working as a finance analyst. If he's not calling customer service to get his money back on his recently purchased golf balls, he's definitely scouring the internet for discount sites and coupons. If you see Brendan at the wedding, ask about his latest Groupon deal to London. He will have just arrived the day before!
Shannon Callinan

Some say one of the hallmarks of a great relationship is not only liking the same things but more importantly, disliking the same things. If that's the case, Shannon and Nisha had the makings of a great sisterhood from the start, as they immediately bonded over their shared love of Housewives and Mindy Kaling and hatred of all things baseball and hockey related. Aside from being Nisha's Astoria neighbor, Shannon is an accountant, hardcore T-Swift fan, and novice yogi. She is nice enough to be a part of Nisha's bridal party even while she's planning her own upcoming nuptials to Brian in the spring of 2020. If you catch Shannon requesting "Ready for it" from the DJ at the wedding, make sure you ask her for her thoughts on Taylor Swift's latest tour. She's seen her live five times!

Kieran first knew Brian would be a fixture in the Callinan family back in 2013 when Shannon and Brian first started dating. What was supposed to be a fun date at the Jets game between Brian and Shannon quickly descended into Callinan Chaos™ as 10 Callinan men fumbled onto the scene, pounding beer and their chests alike. Brian handled it like a champ and immediately gained the respect of the Callinan brothers. Brian is a customer success manager who loves working out, spending time with his friends, the Pardon My Take podcast, and his fiancée Shannon.
