Please come dressed to impress! Ceremony - For our non-ethnic guests, be sure to check out the 'What to Wear' section, where you'll find plenty of inspiration pics to help you choose your outfit. We've also attached a bunch of well trusted links where you can shop for your outfits under the "Where can I shop for Indian clothes?" FAQ. Reception - For our ladies, we recommend wearing a beautiful lehenga, though we completely understand if you prefer a western cocktail gown. Please note that we kindly request long gowns only—no short styles, please. For the gentlemen, a suit and tie would be most appropriate. That said, we want you to feel your best, so if those heels are a bit too high or that top button feels a little too snug, don't hesitate to make yourself comfortable. We want our guests to have fun!
Here are a couple of well trusted websites that I've purchased from in the past.. *side note*- indian clothing usually runs a size small, so please do your research and read their size guides before purchasing 1. https://www.lashkaraa.com/ 2. https://www.hatkay.com/ 3. https://www.perniaspopupshop.com/ 4. https://www.kalkifashion.com/ 5. https://www.houseofindya.com/ 6. https://aashniandco.com 7. https://www.saree.com

The Baraat is a lively and celebratory procession marking the groom's arrival at the wedding venue. It features the groom, often riding a horse, leading a group of family and friends who dance and sing to festive music, creating an atmosphere of joy. The procession symbolizes the groom's journey to the bride's home and is followed by a formal greeting between the groom’s and bride’s families, called the Milni. It’s a fun-filled and exciting part of the wedding, setting the tone for the rest of the celebration.
For a Hindu wedding, we kindly ask that you dress in traditional, modest attire, and arrive on time to honor the sacredness of the occasion. Please remove your shoes before entering the ceremony space and feel free to participate respectfully in the rituals, such as offering blessings or joining in the Aarti. We also ask that you show respect to the priests leading the ceremony and keep your phone on silent. Please be mindful of any dietary preferences, such as vegetarian meals, and allow the couple time to enjoy greeting their guests after the ceremony. Your thoughtful participation will help create a beautiful and respectful atmosphere.
