a day to remember

Our story began through a mutual friend in college. Ricki asked for an introduction, but Nisha, with kindness and grace, politely declined. Life went on, and they went their separate ways. But fate had other plans—one day, Ricki saw Nisha again and, with a newfound determination, he was not about to be rejected a second time. He reached out to their mutual friend and, through a simple conversation, Nisha saw Ricki’s goofy, funny, and charming side. Eventually, Nisha agreed to meet—but only if it was a double date with their friend. They spent the evening playing mini golf (a classic first date) and enjoying a meal together. Afterward, Ricki wasted no time asking for another date, and Nisha happily said yes. Who could have imagined that the same woman who once turned him down would one day be marrying him?
