Here's what to expect during our wedding weekend in Toronto. We are planning a fusion Western-Indian wedding to celebrate each of our unique cultures :) We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Ceremony

Indian Semi-Formal: Saree or Lehenga for women, Sherwani or Suit for men; Western Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Fusion Western-Indian style wedding ceremony & traditions. A Hindu Wedding Ceremony is a traditional ceremony to get married with Hindu rituals, usually performed by a religious priest. Some key elements include a garland exchange between the bride and the groom and walking around a central fire 7 times, each round symbolizing a certain blessing for married life. Dinner, drinks and dancing to follow our ceremony! 6:30 - 7:00 - Grand Entry, Mini Sangeet, and Toast 7:00 - 9:00 - Dinner & Speeches 9:00 - 1:00 - Dance Party A Sangeet is typically an event held the day before the wedding to provide a casual environment to relax before the big day.
