Although there are over twenty miles of roads in the Stehekin River Valley, the only way to reach this remote community is by boat, float plane, or hiking over the mountain trails. The Lady of the Lake makes daily trips to Stehekin from Chelan passing through the Lake Chelan wilderness with surrounding peaks in excess of 9,000 feet.

Leavenworth is about 35 mVisiinutes from Chelan. It is a very cool, Bavarian styled town with lots of shopping, festivities and the best food! Make a day trip!
