Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What airport do I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is the Wenatchee airport. It is a very small airport, but only a 35 minute drive to Chelan, WA. If you have a layover in Seattle, the flight from Seattle to Wenatchee is 20 mins. If you choose to drive from Seattle: It is a 3hr 45 min beautiful drive through two national forests! Leave early enough, and you might see mountain goats :)

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Though, we want our friends and family to wear what ever makes you most comfortable! It will be hot, shorts, button up short sleeve shirts- ok.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Chelan is typically hot during July. We are keeping an eye on weather but assume mid 80's-90's. We will provide hand-fans, shade umbrellas, and misters to keep our guests as cool as possible. Please dress accordingly.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will take place at Karma Vineyards.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. The ceremony and dinner will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors. However, the option to move between the two will be open.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we will be taking photos. While cocktail hour will begin for our guest.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

There is free parking on site. We will provide a shuttle service for after the wedding for those who have consumed to much alcohol ;)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You are more then welcome to bring a plus one.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have hotel blocks at Lake Side Lodge and Suites. You will need to call the hotel directly and book under Armstrong/Simmons to receive a 10% discount (you can not book online).Go to our accommodations tab for the phone number. There are a mix of king and queen suites all at different price points. There are also alternative options located on the accommodation tab.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. The venue is fully accessible to all guests.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We asked that you do not take any photos during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture the moment.
