We are excited to announce our wedding will be in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia! Our wedding ceremony and reception will be at the Hotel AKA Alexandria. This hotel has a modern vibe, nestled near the Potomac River, and just a few blocks from the action on King Street. Old Town Alexandria is super charming, with nearby cobblestone and pedestrian friendly streets, and lots of boutique shops, museums, galleries, and restaurants.

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 1, 2026. Please RSVP on our website, or send us a text. Responses by this time will allow us to update details with vendors and ensure a fun and tasty experience for everyone joining in the celebration. We hope you can make it, and can’t wait to see you!

We want all our guests to be comfortable, but kindly request formal attire. For gentleman, suits and ties. For ladies, dresses, or dressy separates (blouses, dress pants, skirts, jumpsuits). From the bride’s perspective, the more sparkle the better!

Whether you’re in town for just our wedding day or plan to extend your stay, there are lots of options! We just recommend making your reservations early, as our wedding will be held during the most popular time of year for this area, and places often get booked-up in advance. Hotel AKA Alexandria is the location we are getting hitched! Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held at this hotel. Guests who want to stay at this hotel should click on the link located on the "travel" page of our wedding website, to get an exclusive rate of $195/night, up-to 5 nights between April 1-6, 2026. Hotel AKA is waiving the daily destination fee for our guests and providing a discounted valet rate of $18 for the day and $39 for overnight. This rate applies to Juliet balcony room. No, you don’t need a rental car! The hotel where we’re getting married, is about a 10-minute Uber ride from the airport, and there are lots of other transportation options, including: Metro (Rail and Buses), E-Bikes and Scooters, Water-taxi's, and a free Trolly that runs up and down King Street (the main street in Old Town Alexandria).

Answer
Hotel AKA Alexandria offers valet parking, and there are public parking garages and street parking in the area. There is a free parking garage across the street but please note signs that indicate those spaces are reserved for retail shopping. Guests who stay at the hotel will have a discounted daily parking rate during their stay, and guests coming to the hotel just for the day of the event will be provided with a discounted parking rate.
