On the Great Loop, we never got tried of getting off the boat for a river run on land.

While on the Great Loop, Nils and Frances explored many hiking trails, this is a rare instance of them together, rather than Frances 200 steps ahead on the trial.

After ten months of cruising North American waterways on the Great Loop, we switched our white burgee for a gold one in Jacksonville, Floria.

After 6500 miles around North America, we said goodbye to our boat Pivot!

Meeting Pivot

On our first visit to Chattanooga in October 2024 we crossed over the iconic Walnut Street Bridge (now sadly closed for renovations).

Known as the city of Four Bridges, Chattanooga has a dynamic riverfront.

Families meet in Deland, Florida. Mother of the bride, Victoria, father of the groom, Jim, and brother of the groom, Erik. We found out we all like cocktails at brunch.
