ABOUT: Enjoy fall foliage of Chattanooga’s mountainsides and catch glimpses of the city while traveling up the world’s steepest railway. Our group will take the first train after 10AM, approximately 10:20AM. If you miss us, the railway runs regularly! Meet us at the National Park. UPDATE: Nils started working at the Incline Railroad! He is arranging our group’s round trip transport for the day.

ABOUT: Lookout Mountain National Park is a gem of Chattanooga for its spectacular views and turning-point historical significance in the Civil War. Nils and Frances will guide you through the park on a short walking tour and leave you plenty of time to take photos and explore. Entry to the park is 10 dollars per person or free with your NPS pass (children 15 and under are free). NOTE: We will not include the Visitors’ Center as part of the tour, so you might like to peek in after exploring the park with us, there is no entry fee for the visitors’ center. Return tickets are not timed, so you have flexibility to decide when to descend. PARKING: There is free parking at the Visitors’ Center for anyone driving rather than taking the Incline Railway.

ABOUT: In October 2024, Nils and Frances arrived in Chattanooga aboard their trawler while cruising the Great Loop. Now, they invite you to join them for a sunset cruise on the Tennessee River, showcasing stunning fall colors and the winding beauty of the valley. Join Nils and Frances as the couple publicly declare their commitment of love and partnership. 6-7pm—Light refreshments during standing ceremony on terrace overlooking the Tennessee River. 7-10pm-Seated dinner followed by dancing in the grand lobby. Attire: Suits, jackets and slacks, chic separates, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, sparkle and whimsy are welcome. Children are welcome at the party! We will have a room set up with crafts, snacks and cozy comforts with a child care provider for when kids need a break in the evening.
