Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding attire is Tropical Semi-Formal. We kindly request that guests wear suits, cocktail dresses, gowns, or other comfortable, elegant attire suitable for a beach setting. We invite guests to celebrate the tropical vibe by wearing any colorful pastels or tropical tones, or our wedding palette of light pink, palm greenery, beige/brown, and hints of gold; while white is part of our palette, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing it to let the bride shine on this special day. The ceremony will take place on the beach, followed by a reception at a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor spaces overlooking the ocean.

Question

When & how do I RSVP?

Answer

Invitations will be emailed September-October 2024 and the RSVP page on this website will become active. Make sure you share your contact information with us here: https://www.zola.com/addr/7z3ZGeZ9n Please RSVP by January 1, 2025, but we strongly recommend confirming by October or November to help us arrange your hotel accommodations and secure the best options.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We strongly recommend staying at the JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar, as we’ve arranged special rates and accommodations through our travel agent. Having the group in one place helps us stay organized and makes it easier to enjoy time together. We recommend a 4-night stay, arriving on Wednesday to join in more group activities. However, a 3-night stay, which is the minimum requirement, is also an option, arriving just in time for the wedding rehearsal in the afternoon/evening on Thursday. Please note, if you choose to stay elsewhere, you’ll only be able to attend the wedding ceremony and reception. Unfortunately, participation in other activities will be limited, as they are reserved for hotel guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our families, closest friends, and their spouses. While we’d love to include everyone, partners may not always be invited. Please check the RSVP form for the specific details of your invitation, and thank you for your understanding and support!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations to children are limited to family only (special arrangements were made). We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence on our big day is the most important thing to us. Gifts are not necessary, but if you would like to contribute to our newlywed life, please see further details in our Registry page section.
