Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Brianna Barajas and Nikolas Horiuchi

Andy Choi

Best Man

Having known Niko for nearly my entire life, it's a bit difficult to remember exactly when we first met, but it was either at school or church when my family moved here in 2004. Some of my favorite memories with Niko are our summer breaks in grade school. Whether it was making YouTube videos, playing video games, hanging out at campmeeting, or sleepovers - summers were absolutely a blast and memories I'll cherish forever. Fun Fact: You can see me in the stands on TV during Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Finals!

Rissa Failauga

Maid of Honor

I met Bri at Evergreen in a program for teaching English learners. She introduced me to K-Pop, and we’ve been friends ever since. We reconnected in 2021 and haven’t stopped the coffee dates, parties, and support since. I met Niko at one of our hangouts—Bri wanted us to finally meet. He was super friendly, and we instantly bonded over both being Seventh-Day Adventists. We've been homies ever since! Favorite memory? Their karaoke duet of “Barbie Girl”—that’s when I knew they were something special. Fun fact: I never make the same pasta twice. Don’t even ask for a recipe.

Tom Kang

Groomsman

Niko was my first friend in high school. If it wasn’t for him, I would have had to eat lunch inside the bathroom by myself. My favorite memory of Niko is the 7-alarm challenge. He was able to beat the challenge, but let’s just say he did not have a fun time afterwards.

Anika Owens-Wilkerson

Bridesmaid

I met Bri through our amazing friend Rissa on one of many coffee dates. About a year later, Bri introduced us to Niko—at a coffee shop, of course! I’m not a morning person, but for coffee dates? I’m up and out the door in record time. One of my favorite memories with them was our camping trip to Alder Lake—sunny beach naps, dinner struggles with propane stoves, and hours of laughter around the campfire with no Wi-Fi, just good vibes. Fun fact: I played violin for 9 years—survived tuning chaos, endless scales, and somehow made it sound cool!

Azalia Thomas

Flower Girl

Uncle Niko is my Dada’s colleague/work bestie, and my parents have treasured their friendships with uncle Niko and aunty Bri since before I was born! Game nights! Sometimes I get to watch Winnie the Pooh, sometimes I get to play with board game pieces, and I remember one time we listened to my music and everyone started to vibe with my favorite song, “caterpillar caterpillar”! But my favorite time was probably when I got to meet Miso! A fun fact about me is that I have a golden retriever named Chase, and he is my best friend!
