The Old St. Francis School was transformed from 1936 Catholic schoolhouse to, in 2004, a hotel. Their pub is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Broom Closet Bar
This is a speakeasy style bar located in the Art House at McMenamins Old St. Francis School. First you'll want to find the door marked "Broom Closet" and once you do... open it! You may hesitate when you see the closet is in fact full of brooms, but you'll want to further investigate. What you discover behind the panels may entail fresh cocktails...
Dogwood Cocktail Cabin
We discovered this spot on our most recent trip to Bend and couldn't believe we hadn't stumbled upon it before. The cocktails are incredible, they have delicious tapas style food and they have a DJ pretty much every night. This is definitely our new go to when we're in town!
Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House
Hands down, the best pretzel & beer cheese you will ever eat. They have a bunch of really great beers on draft too that are brewed here in town! This is a spot we love to come hang out for a few hours to eat, drink and play cards.
10 Barrel Brewing West Side Bend
The beer flights here are epic. They have so many amazing beers to try on draft and delicious food to pair it with while you enjoy the overall ambiance outside on the patio.
Lone Pine Coffee Roasters
This is a super cute & trendy coffee spot in town with plenty of seating incase you want to spend some time enjoying your coffee and reading the morning paper.
Looney Bean Coffee
This is a great spot to sip your morning coffee in the great outdoors and enjoy the incredible views looking out over the Deschutes River.

Soaking Pool
This soaking pool located at McMenamins Old St. Francis School is semi-enclosed in shimmering turquoise tilework, where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail even while the central Oregon snow or rain falls in through the open ceiling! Admire the luminous stained glass window and the tiles that were handcrafted, fired and painted into a beautiful mural.
