What is the dress code for the Welcome Dinner?

Answer

Dressy Casual Attire - examples could be short or midi dresses, jumpsuits, sandals, skirts & tops, tailored pants and fun tops, button up shirts, dark jeans, polo shirts and dress pants, khakis or trousers, nice sneakers or loafers.

What is the dress code for the Wedding?

Answer

Resort Formal - think classic wedding attire but with fun colors/prints and breathable fabrics. Examples could be knee-length, midi or floor length dresses, tailored pants and nice tops, nice sandals, heels or wedges, suits (ties optional), dress shirts, polos, slacks and lightweight blazers, dress shoes. Have fun with it, it is the desert after all!

What is the weather like in May and will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The weather will be pretty warm during the day but cools off in the evening. It's the desert so expect dry heat with low humidity. We will do our best to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests! The ceremony will take place outdoors but has a later start to ensure shade and the reception will be partially inside the air conditioned restaurant.

Are all events at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Please consider our venue, Sands Hotel & Spa, your home base for our wedding weekend, as we have secured the entire hotel for guests to book. We advise booking your stay as soon as you receive your invitation. For the link to book, please refer to the "Travel & Lodging" tab.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we cannot accommodate plus ones for every guest unless they are specifically named on the invitation. We look forward to seeing you soon!

While we love your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration.

When should I arrive to the desert?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than Friday, May 30, 2025. We hope that you will come and make a weekend out of it!

I'm driving to the venue, where should I park?

Answer

Sands Hotel & Spa offers complimentary valet and overnight parking for our wedding.

Can I take pictures or videos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The greatest gift you can give us is to be truly present, so we kindly ask that there are no photos or videos taken during the ceremony. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos during the reception!

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
