Meet us in Palm Springs!

Nikki and Ryan first met in Mrs. Randall’s sixth grade class at Pioneer Middle School in Tustin, CA (it was 2005, low rise jeans were being rocked and Fall Out Boy was being played). Nikki and Ryan became fast friends, and as middle school rolled into high school, they remained close. From countless school functions - not limited to but including Ryan's football games (where Nikki performed at half time shows) and Nikki's dance performances (where Ryan even performed a couple of times himself...ask him about his Danny Zuko!). Also, house parties, sporting events, and weekend trips, they continued to make endless memories with their core group of friends. What they could've never predicted is that one Summer Night (she’s a Grease fan, what can you do!) would change their lives forever. One evening, at a friend’s party, Ryan made the bold decision to make the first move. They went on their first date at Roma D’Italia (iykyk) and spent that whole summer together, endlessly laughing. When Nikki moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB in the Fall, she and Ryan continued to talk on the phone every single day. And what started as summer fun, turned into something more. Ryan began visiting UCSB often, and they created even more memories - sorority date parties, beach days and downtown dates, and Nikki’s close college friends became Ryan’s. They spent summers back in OC, spending quality time with each other’s families, (Nikki knew the moment she was sure about Ryan was when she met his mom, dad, brother and grandma) and their love continued to grow. Ryan would even attend Nikki’s family functions while she was in SB, their families became each other's family. One of their core memories early on is when Ryan visited Nikki in Italy, traveling together for the first time, eating countless plates of pasta and pizza, wandering through the cobblestone streets and leaning on each other’s strengths (Nikki’s a planner, Ryan’s go with the flow, who woulda thought!) and fully seeing how well they truly complement each other. Nikki & Ryan were there to see each other graduate college and take those first steps into adulthood. There were many highs and some pretty tough lows over the next couple of years, but Nikki and Ryan were always each other’s constant. Through every challenge and triumph, they have been each other's unwavering support. Eventually, they settled in Los Angeles together along with their dogs Blu & Bella (and even sometimes Nikki’s roommate and Ryan’s brother, Liam lol) and they began to truly build their lives together. Over the past almost 12 years (!) they’ve been together, it hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it. And with all the incredible experiences they’ve had over those 12 years, still their favorite place to be is cozied up on the couch together, with their dogs, watching their favorite show or movie - their home is truly each other. As they look forward to this next chapter in their story, they’re thrilled to celebrate their love with all their closest family and friends at their wedding in the desert next year!
