Our Story
On March 25th, 2019 Nikki was looking for a free dinner and Matt was looking for a targeted blind date to shoot a prank video for youtube. Unfortunately, Nikki's toilet broke earlier that day, causing her to buy a plunger which she didn't have time to bring home prior to the date so she walked into Vanguard Wine Bar holding a plunger. In that same vein, mid-afternoon Matt's camera equipment failed, but he thought it rude to cancel a date last minute, so he decided to go for just one drink...
Neither knew the other was also a performer as all Matt had on his Bumble profile was a shirtless picture playing the saxophone and all Nikki had was a bikini pic from 2011. One drink turned into 7 1/2 years and here we are.
Through 32,113 comedy shows (some better attended than others), a pandemic, countless adventures, a near death experience on a United flight, and 42,134 car rides in traffic (many with a broken radio), almost 8 years later, they're tying the knot.
