For those of you who don't know, Nikki and Luke met back in 2020 while Nikki was studying abroad in New Zealand. Luke is from New Zealand and happened to be studying at the neighboring University. After being forcibly separated due to covid, they were able to keep in touch until borders were open for travel again. As soon as the government allowed, Luke hopped on a plane to California to visit. After three years of long distance and visits to each other back and forth, Luke and Nikki had a small civil ceremony in Laguna Beach on February 14, 2023. The two started then Luke's immigration process, so he could move to the United States. Luke became a permanent resident of the U.S., and moved in with Nikki in Huntington Beach in May 2024, and now we are so excited to celebrate with all of you!
