Wedding Party

Vera Zelinka

Maid of Honor

Hi! I'm Vera, I'm a 26 year old artist and Huntsville transplant from Cleveland Ohio. I met Nikki in 2022, on our 22nd birthday, which happens to be in February, which means we met on 02/22/2022! We were introduced by a mutual friend who insisted we need to meet because we were so similar, and he was right. Nikki was someone I knew I needed to have in my life as soon as I spoke to her - the conversation was effortless, and we talked for hours. We almost immediately became best friends, and I'll always be thankful to Trey for bringing her much-needed light into my life. That light only got brighter when she met Logan. She started telling us about the cute guy at work, and was over the moon when he asked her if she wanted to go to the Tennessee Ren Faire together. It was a couple of months later that she told me she was going to marry him, and it wasn't hard to see why. Logan fit perfectly into our little group of friends, like we'd known him for years. It's been a delight to watch their life journey over the last three years. Every trial and accomplishment brought them closer together, and I'm honored to be a part of their next step.

Andrew Zelinka

Best Man

In early 2022, I met Nikki at an arcade bar where we were celebrating her and my wife's joint 22nd birthday party. She was an old friend of someone my wife and I met in college, who was quite eager to introduce her to us. All I knew about her before that party was that my wife was going to absolutely love her, so I knew to expect the unusual. The following years proved me right as she showed herself to be a remarkably dependable, perceptive, and empathetic friend. The first time I heard Logan's name was a year later when I started to hear chatter from our friends about Nikki's new crush who she was spending more time with. Not long after, I got the chance to meet him in person at a Top Golf double date, and it didn't take long to know that he was a good man and a good match for Nikki. Now, years of games, shooting trips, and home lab assistance later, he's proven time and again how generous, ambitious, and effortlessly charming a man can really be.

Rachel Riley

Bridesmaid

I’m Rachel! I’m 25 years old and a hairstylist in Madison, AL. Although Nikki and I both attended the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science, we did not know each other well. It wasn’t until 2022 when Vera insisted I had to meet her friend Nikki that we reconnected and instantly bonded over the (traumatic) experience of ASMS. Ever since that day at Dave n Busters, Nikki has been one of my closest friends, a beacon of light in my life. When she began telling us about the cute guy at her new job in 2023 I could help but wish the best for her, after all she deserves nothing less. After going on a few dates and making it official in June, Nikki introduced Logan to our group of friends and he quickly became like a brother to me. Nikki and Logan have been there for me during many highs and lows in the few years I’ve known them. They have always stood by my side when I’ve needed them most. From Nikki awkwardly holding my knee to awkward sibling hugs with Logan, they are a perfect match. They bring out the best in each other, lighting up the lives of everyone around them. I am honored to call them both my friends and even more so to stand with them as they celebrate their love and this next chapter of life.

Garrett Heston

Groomsman

Logan and I were fourteen when we met. We shared mutual friends and talked on a few occasions. Once we started university, we reconnected and really hit it off. We discovered shared interests in computers, games, and world events. I had opportunities to learn so much from him. I can recount the evenings we spent discussing all the different things on our mind. Now, we are coworkers at an engineering firm, and we spend time together daily tackling difficult tasks. He has been a blessing in my life and I am so excited for Nikki and Logan- they are truly an amazing team.

Nicole Eastman

Bridesmaid

I’ve known Nikki and Logan for a few years now, and their love for each other has always been something truly special to witness. We all worked together, and from the moment I met Nikki, I knew we were going to be great friends—bonding over tattoos and piercings was just the beginning. Over time, I’ve gotten to see the way Logan loves and supports her, and it’s so clear how perfect they are for each other. Being able to stand beside them on such an important day means the world to me, and I feel so grateful to celebrate a love as genuine and beautiful as theirs.

Devin Peak

Groomsman

Getting to know Logan and Nikki has been a really great experience over the past few years. I met them through Nicole who worked with them, and before long we were all spending time together as couples. Logan and I quickly realized we had a lot of the similar interests so it was easy for our friendship to grow. The more time I’ve spent around them, the more obvious it is how much they genuinely care about and support each other. I’m truly honored to stand with Logan on such an important day and celebrate the life he and Nikki are building together.

Katie Pike

Bridesmaid and Sister of the Groom

I met Nikki in June of 2023, when we were helping Logan move. She was kind, compassionate, and humble, and most importantly, she showed love for my brother. Nikki is always genuine and loving to anyone she meets. There is not a single (good) person who does not like her. It was immediately clear that Nikki wasn't just a girlfriend to Logan, she was a partner. The way they not only finished each other's sentences and knew exactly what the other person was going to say, but they also finished each other's corny dad jokes. They are each other's ride or die, through the highs and the lows. Nikki instantly fit into the family and became one of us. Everyone loved her, especially our nervous dog, who doesn't like strangers. Whether it was attending family dinners or joining family trips, she fit in and belonged in our family. Over the years, Nikki became a sister to me. She has always been there if I just need to talk or cry. But most importantly, she was there when I needed an arm to squeeze (break) during rollercoasters and blood draws.

Trey Rigsby

Groomsman and Bride Escort

I have been honored to have the opportunity to be heavily involved in each of the lives of the bride and groom, both having become two of my closest friends. When I first met Nikki, we had both just moved away from our homes to attend the Alabama School of Math and Science, a residential high school from which we both graduated. Throughout our time there, and continuing into college at UAH, we discovered much that we both enjoyed, including art, gaming, and a love for good times. From this, a friendship developed and has proceeded to persist for nearly 10 years. We have shared much in that time, both good and bad, and as a result, have each found a powerful lifelong friend in the other. In contrast, Logan and I’s first meeting took place in a more professional setting, being introduced to one another as coworkers. The best word I can use to describe our early friendship is “accelerated.” After only knowing each other for two weeks, we were crammed into an office together, and essentially were forced to get along. But as weeks and months went by, we slowly began talking more and more, and thus found that there was much we both shared an interest in and agreed upon. By the time I had moved on to find other employment, I left that job with a new and treasured friend. Nearly 3 years have passed since we first met, but I still hold our friendship as one of the best things to come out of my time there.
