What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is set to start at 5:00PM so please plan to start arriving at the venue around 4:30PM!

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
Please scan the QR code on your Save the Date or click "Home" on this website to access the directions found at the bottom of the page. The address can also be found on your invitation or by typing "Mountain View Gardens & Ballroom" into your search engine.

Where should I park?
Answer
There is a green space outside the venue to the right that will serve as parking for all guests!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The preferred dress code is garden party attire! Soooo... what does that mean? "Garden party attire" is similar to a cocktail or semi-formal style in elegance but emphasizes brighter colors, pastels, and florals. It's late spring in Alabama and likely to be HOT, so wear something breezy and comfortable that also makes you feel stylish. Most of all- make sure you can dance!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Some guests in long-term relationships will be given a plus one, but that will be specified on your invitation. If you are not initially given a plus one, but would like to bring someone, text Landon or Nikki and we can try to work it out. We want to make sure our special day is filled with the people we love!

Will the wedding be primarily outdoors or indoors?
Answer
A combination of both! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all taking place at the same venue in different locations. The ceremony will be in a green space located to the left of the manor, the cocktail hour will take place around the pool area, and the glassed-in ballroom will be the primary reception spot.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
*Will update closer to the wedding date We don't know... but usually in May, the temperatures range between 78-84 degrees Fahrenheit. We will be hoping for no rain but we have a backup plan just in case!

Will there be any other events at the venue this weekend?
Answer
Nope! We have the entirety of the venue reserved for the day so feel free to roam and explore the grounds.

Can I take pictures/videos throughout the ceremony?
Answer
We will have an opportunity to take pictures after the wedding party processions and right before the ceremony begins. After that, we will ask that all phones are turned off to enjoy the moment together!

Should I bring a gift?
Answer
Gifts are by no means required, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. You also can access our registry by scanning the QR code on your Save the Date or invitation insert and clicking the "Registry" tab.
