Fly into Manila MNL (Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), or Cebu and then take a domestic flight to Caticlan. Take a 10 min shuttle or tricycle from the jetty. Shangri-la’s speed boat (15 min ride) or ferry will directly go to the resort if you are staying there on the day you arrive, otherwise Cagban port is the main arrival port on the island. The Abrantes Family party will be leaving Atlanta 10/30 and arrive in Manila 11/1 @1100 (Delta), then a Philippine Air flight to Caticlan @1330 and arrive @1440. We will be staying at the Movenpick Resort for a few days til 11/5 before staying at Shangri-La. John and Ruby will be departing Boracay the day after the wedding on 11/8 @0920 to go and explore Thailand and return back to Atlanta 11/19/25.

Transfers from airport to the island

Please check with your hotel to see if transfers are included. If you are staying at Shangri-La at anytime during your visit in Boracay your round trip transfers via hotel shuttle and ferry are included, approximately 15 minute ride. The island collects an environmental fee ( PHP 450 / $9 )from tourists upon arrival for 12 years and older. If you choose to take the speedboat, I was informed that there is an additional surcharge of probably almost $20 per room per way that will be applied for all arrival and departure journeys Between 7 PM and 7 AM. Please give us your flight itineraries to give the hotel. Regardless, if you’re staying at Shangri-La, please share your flight itinerary with us. Shangri-La ferries and speedboat only go to their own resort. Shangri-la is above station 1 and all other hotels primary entry is Cagban Jetty port near station 2. Both ports are open 24/7. Many restaurants and hotels are in this area.
