Of course, we love our family and friends in all sizes ;)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

3:30pm - Refreshments will be available before the ceremony!

If we didn't already specify in your invitation, please feel free to ask and we will try to accommodate your request.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place on the Shangri-la resort.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be a buffet served with vegetarians, pescatarians and meat lovers in mind. Please add any food allergies with RSVP

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as possible, especially within the three months prior to the wedding. Destination weddings can be challenging :) We know life can get in the way.

Last day to reserve room at SHANGRI-LA?

Answer

July 10, 2025 for Shangri-la for 25% discount under Alvarez/Abrantes wedding, but there are many more options for accommodations with all price ranges.

How long is the flight to Manila, Philippines?

Answer

Depending on where you are coming from...just know it's going to be a long travel day regardless! If you are departing from: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): 14-15 hrs San Diego International Airport (SAN): 16-17 hrs San Fransisco International Airport (SFO): 15 hrs Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): 20 hrs *Please note that these travel times do not include the the additional flight to Boracay!

Pesos Conversion rate as of 6/10/2-25average $1=55.5 pesos but check your banks for the best value

220 voltage, similar to what is used in Europe

Tagalog is the official language but English is widely used.

When should I plan to arrive in Boracay?

Answer

Given the fact that you have to first fly into Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport), hop on a flight to Boracay (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport), and take a ferry to the island, we ask that you please plan accordingly and take any possible delays into consideration. We ask that you plan to travel at least 2-3 days before the ceremony.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The ceremony is cocktail/formal attire. We ask that guests please refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, sandals, sneakers, or anything of the like.

When will Nikki and Gil arrive in Boracay?

Answer

Our flight departs on October 30 with us arriving on November 1.

Is there a welcome dinner?

Answer

Yes, we plan on it on November 5, we will update you with where and when soon.
