WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT? / ¿QUÉ PASA SI NO PUEDO ASISTIR?

Answer

We completely understand that work and life can make destination weddings difficult to attend. Once RSVPs are requested, please RSVP "no" at your earliest convenience so we can plan accordingly. Entendemos completamente que el trabajo y las responsabilidades pueden hacer que asistir a una boda de destino sea difícil. Una vez que se soliciten las confirmaciones de asistencia, les pedimos que respondan “no” lo antes posible para que podamos planificar adecuadamente.

ARE MY CHILDREN WELCOME? /¿MIS HIJOS ESTÁN INVITADOS?

Our wedding events in DR are adults-only. While we warmly welcome you to bring your children on your trip, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare for all wedding-related events. Nuestros eventos de boda en la República Dominicana serán solo para adultos. Aunque con gusto pueden traer a sus hijos durante el viaje, les pedimos amablemente que organicen el cuidado de los niños para todos los eventos relacionados con la boda.

CAN I BRING A "PLUS ONE"? /¿PUEDO LLEVAR UN ACOMPAÑANTE?

Answer

Because we’re planning an intimate celebration, we’re only able to include guests who are specifically listed on the invitation. If your partner is invited, we will clearly communicate that when save-the-dates and formal invitations are sent. If you don’t receive that confirmation, we truly appreciate your understanding that the invitation is just for you. Debido a que estamos planeando una celebración íntima, solo podremos incluir a las personas cuyos nombres aparezcan específicamente en la invitación. Si su pareja está invitada, se lo comunicaremos claramente cuando enviemos los “save the date” y las invitaciones formales. Si no reciben esa confirmación, les agradecemos de corazón su comprensión de que la invitación es solo para ustedes.

Yes, we are so excited to see our family and friends dressed up for the celebrations. Please visit the "Dress Code" tab for guidance and inspiration for our wedding events. On our wedding day, we kindly ask that our guests dress formally and avoid the color white. Sí, estamos muy emocionados de ver a nuestra familia y amigos elegantes para la celebración. Por favor, visiten la sección “Código de Vestimenta” para obtener orientación e inspiración para nuestros eventos de boda. El día de la boda, les pedimos amablemente que vistan de manera formal y eviten el color blanco.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?/ ¿DÓNDE ME PUEDO HOSPEDAR?

Answer

Villa Azul is a 14-bedroom villa reserved for close family and friends. Due to limited space, most guests will need to book their own accommodation nearby. The good news is that Cabarete is a very safe, vibrant beach town with plenty of great options. We recommend looking into local hotels or Airbnbs, there are many amazing places within walking distance or a short drive from the venue. You really can't go wrong, whether you prefer a boutique hotel, beachfront stay, or a cozy Airbnb, there are options for every style and budget. Villa Azul es una villa de 14 habitaciones reservada para familiares y amigos cercanos. Debido al espacio limitado, la mayoría de los invitados deberán reservar su propio alojamiento en los alrededores. La buena noticia es que Cabarete es un pueblo muy seguro y vibrante, con muchas excelentes opciones para hospedarse. Les recomendamos buscar hoteles locales o alojamientos en Airbnb; hay muchísimos lugares increíbles a poca distancia a pie o a solo unos minutos en auto del lugar del evento. Realmente no pueden equivocarse: ya sea que prefieran un hotel boutique, una estadía frente al mar o un acogedor Airbnb, hay opciones para todos los estilos y presupuestos.

WILL THE CEREMONY, COCKTAIL HOUR, AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?/ ¿LA CEREMONIA, EL CÓCTEL Y LA RECEPCIÓN SERÁN EN INTERIOR O AL AIRE LIBRE?

Answer

All wedding events will take place outdoors at Villa Azul. The ceremony and reception will be held on a grassy area of the property, while cocktail hour will take place on a beachfront deck that is fully covered. For your comfort, we kindly recommend choosing footwear suitable for grass, as traditional heels may sink into the lawn. Todos los eventos de la boda se llevarán a cabo al aire libre en Villa Azul. La ceremonia y la recepción se celebrarán en un área con césped dentro de la propiedad, mientras que el cóctel tendrá lugar en una terraza frente al mar que está completamente cubierta. Para su comodidad, les recomendamos elegir calzado adecuado para césped, ya que los tacones tradicionales pueden hundirse en el pasto.

We kindly ask that you keep your phones tucked away during the ceremony. Please allow our photographer to capture the moment while you relax and fully enjoy being present with us. Les pedimos amablemente que mantengan sus teléfonos guardados durante la ceremonia. Permitan que nuestro fotógrafo capture el momento mientras ustedes se relajan y disfrutan plenamente junto a nosotros.
