Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 15 to give the couple enough time to adequately prepare the wedding day.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 12:30pm, October 4th, 2025, at the Sutton Place Hotel.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. Due to our venues' max capacities, we aren't able to accommodate more people than the ones named on our invites.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but unfortunately no. We are only inviting those named on the invites.

Question

I have a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know when you RSVP what your dietary restrictions & allergies are. We can talk to the caterer if we know in advance and they can make the appropriate accommodations. Dinner is buffet style and the food will be clearly labeled.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is paid parking at the Sutton Place Hotel parking lot, or paid parking on the streets nearby. Reception: There is free street parking around the venue. The Scottish Cultural Center also has a deal with the elementary school nearby so we can park our cars in that parking lot too.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Thank you for your generosity! Please click on the Registry tab of this website for more information on our registry. Here is the link again, if you can't access the tab: https://www.amazon.ca/wedding/organize-registry If you'd prefer to give a cash gift instead, you can e-transfer to nsnider56@gmail.com. Thank you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding will be Black Tie Optional. Please avoid wearing any white dresses so Nikki can feel special on our wedding day. Please avoid wearing a soft, Eucalyptus green (a bit darker than Sage green) as this will be the attire for our wedding party. "Black Tie Optional" definition: Encouraged to dress in formal evening wear, but it's not a strict requirement. Men can wear a tuxedo, but a dark suit with a tie or bowtie is also perfectly fine. Women can opt for a long gown or elegant cocktail dress, but dressy jumpsuits or chic separates are great alternatives. It’s about being stylish and celebratory, while allowing for some flexibility.

Question

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

An unplugged wedding ceremony means we kindly ask guests to turn off their phones, cameras, and other devices during the ceremony. This helps everyone stay present and engaged in the moment, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience together. It also ensures our professional photographers and videographers can capture the best memories without distractions. Thank you for helping make our day even more special!

Question

What should we do if we need to cancel or change our RSVP?

Answer

If you need to update your RSVP, whether it's a change in your attendance or the number of guests, please reach out to Nikki & Aries as soon as possible. This helps us finalize our plans and make any necessary adjustments. The closer to our wedding date, the harder it will be to add people, but please keep us posted on any RSVP updates regardless of how close it is to the day. Thank you for keeping us updated!

Question

Are there accommodations for guests with mobility issues?

Answer

Yes, we want all our guests to feel comfortable and welcome! The Sutton Place Hotel has elevators available (from the lobby as well as from the underground parking lot). There are a few stairs up to the Scottish Cultural Center from the main entrance, but there is also a ramp on the side of the building as well as an elevator from their back parking lot. If you need any specific accommodations or assistance or have concerns, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to help.
