FAQs

Here are some answers to your burning questions about our wedding!
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Whenever you're 100% sure of your plans! If that's now, please feel free to submit your RSVP. Or, if you need a bit more time, we ask that all RSVP's are submitted no later than Friday, February 15th. Please note that once your RSVP has been submitted online, it will be considered final so we can use it for planning purposes. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Question

How do I travel to Maui on a budget?

Answer

Fear not friends! This is the official wedding of TripSchatz, which means Nikki is here to help you find deals galore so that you can be a part of our special day. Here's a link to a blog post on finding the best deals, but feel free to reach out to me directly to help you find the most budget-friendly flights and accommodations. You should also know that we spent our entire vacation on Maui eating at the most delicious food trucks so good food is also budget-friendly here! We provided many of these favorites, plus plenty of free activities on our "Things to Do" tab. https://tripschatz.com/2016/04/27/my-travel-deal-secrets-exposed/

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

Maui is an incredible island with so many sights. We recommend that you stay on the west side of the island for closest proximity to our venue - towns like Kaanapali Beach, Lahaina, Kihei or Wailea are best if you want to be near the action! Don't worry though, there will be plenty of time for exploring and even taking the Road to Hana if you'd like. See our "Travel" tab for more information!

Question

Is there a room block?

Answer

Yes! We have a discounted room block at the Sheraton Maui. The rates (including all taxes/fees) per night are $335/night for non-Ocean and $375/night for Ocean. Please call 1-808-921-4645 and reference the Schatzman/Windhorst Wedding Block to book a discounted room here!

Question

What is the weather like on Maui in April?

Answer

Short answer: Perfect Long answer: The average temperature is in the high 70's or low 80's during the day and in the upper 60's at night! It's the first month of the dry season, but the island will still be in full bloom. It's also the start of shoulder season in terms of tourism - the winter tourist season is over and the summer tourist season hasn't yet begun which means deals on airfare and accommodations!
