We're so excited to celebrate with you!

As fate would have it and through mutual friends, Sagar and Nikki’s paths finally crossed at their medical school. Nikki was a 2nd year medical student, and Sagar was a PGY-2 at UT Southwestern. Nikki had been shadowing, and she chose a week that happened to be Sagar's first week on the job! A senior resident pointed Nikki towards Sagar's clinic and told her she could shadow him for the day. Sagar recognized Nikki immediately, and tells Nikki he was so excited in that moment that he forgot how nervous he was to see his patients. After that day, Sagar asked Nikki on a date, and the rest is history! Sagar planned a surprise proposal on Laguna Beach at the Montage Resort!  He had Nikki's friends bring her to the resort under the guise of a drug lecture for the residents. When she got to the resort, her friends took her to the beach, and there, she found Sagar in front of a beautiful proposal set-up he had created on his own. He got down on one knee, and he asked her to be his wife, and she said yes! Sagar had done such an amazing job of building a story to get Nikki here that she asked if they were still going to the drug lecture &9 afterwards!
