Chic Summer Attire: Light, polished, and breathable. Think “summer cocktails on a patio”—linen, collared shirts or button‑downs paired with nicer shorts or slacks, sundresses, skirts, etc.
We’re kicking off the celebrations with a welcome pre‑party: a scenic dinner cruise along the river. Think golden‑hour views, city lights, and plenty of time to mingle. We’ll enjoy drinks and a buffet dinner while watching the sunset, with the option to relax on the outdoor deck or stay cool inside the air‑conditioned dining and bar area. Our boat, The Odyssey, departs from the dock near the NBC Tower at 455 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive, on the north side of the River Esplanade between Columbus Drive and Michigan Avenue. If you’re taking an Uber or Lyft, we recommend being dropped off at the Cityfront Plaza roundabout nearest the river—you’ll see a staircase on the south side of the street between NBC Tower and the Gleacher Center that leads directly down to the dock. For those driving, the closest and easiest parking garage is located at 219/225 E. North Water Street, on the LOWER level. We can’t wait to welcome you and toast the start of our wedding weekend together.

We’re so excited to invite you to celebrate our wedding at the Rookery Building in downtown Chicago! Everything—ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing—will happen in the same place, so you can settle in and enjoy the night with us from start to finish. The Rookery Building is Chicago's oldest high rise. Built in 1888, it was one of the world's tallest buildings at the time (with only 11 floors). In 1905, the building was remodeled by Frank Lloyd Wright. We can’t wait to celebrate with you under the Rookery’s glass ceiling, surrounded by friends, family, and a little bit of Chicago magic.
