For our guests who are flying directly to the wedding and not traveling prior: we suggest flying into Florence Airport (FLR), or Rome–Fiumicino International Airport (FCO). From both locations, you can take a train to Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. The Florence airport is about 15 minutes from the Santa Maria Novella train station. You can take either take a taxi or shuttle bus to the train station. Both are very easily accessible located right outside of the airport. The shuttle bus departs every half hour, and there are taxi's on standby at all times. If you land in Rome, there is a train station inside the airport that can take you to the Roma Termini train station that has trains to Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. Additional airports include Pisa Airport (PSA), or Bologna Airport (BLQ).
We are arranging transportation to and from the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme train station. However, you are more than welcome to rent a car or take a cab to the venue.
We do not have a traditional gift registry because this is a destination wedding and we are already requesting you to travel to celebrate with us. However, if you were thinking of giving us a gift, we welcome you to buy us a drink or contribute to an excursion on our honeymoon through our honeymoon fund! We will be traveling to the Amalfi Coast and Santorini following our wedding to relax, eat, drink, and explore. https://www.zola.com/wedding/niki-and-matt/registry
We are having an unplugged ceremony and are requesting our guests turn off cell phones and cameras during the ceremony. During the cocktail party and reception, please take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!
Tuscany in June/July has hot days that cool off at night. We recommend flowy and cool fabrics, but also consider bringing something to layer if the nights get breezy. Don't forget your passport, a travel plug adapter, and a bathing suit.
