Things To Do
Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area where there is so much to do! It is a great place visit when there is not a pandemic. While many stores, bars/wineries, restaurants are beginning to reopen, each of the nine counties that make up the Bay Area have their own guidelines and restrictions. Be sure to do some research before heading out.
The Napa/Sonoma Valley is world renowned for its extensive wineries and is the least restricted of all the counties opening up. It is about a 45 minute drive from the Oakley area.
San Francisco is about an hour drive from the Oakley area and there is so much to do and see (Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate park, etc.). Even if some businesses are closed, it is probably the perfect time to visit with a lot less tourists. Be sure to check the weather—it can be up to a 40 degree difference from Oakley!
