Welcome to Brazil!

Please plan to arrive in Rio de Janeiro by Wednesday (May 30th, 2018). We will be in Rio from Monday (May 28th) to Thursday (May 31st - early morning) waiting for all of our international guests. During this period we plan to visit the Christ statue, go to popular beaches and touristic spots, and get to see Rio as much as possible, so you're welcome to join. On May 31st we are planning to rent a minibus to the wedding venue (approximately 5 hours away from Rio), so please let us know if you would like to ride with us.

Our Ceremony

Make sure to plan for a slightly chilly evening

The wedding ceremony will take place at a cute little hotel in the beautiful city of Ouro Preto. We will also be staying at this hotel. There are a limited number of rooms so if you would like this accommodation please let us know in advance (the rate per night is *approximately* $65 for a standard double room, breakfast included). If you prefer, the city of Ouro Preto also has multiple cheaper options for accommodation, so feel free to ask Karla if you have any questions!

Travel back to Rio

We are planning to ride back to Rio on Monday (June 4th, 2018). From this point on you decide if you will be returning home, or doing more touristic stuff in Brazil. We will be heading to Ilha Grande with Nik's family, about 3 hours away from Rio de Janeiro, for a longer stay. If you would like to visit feel free to ask Karla about it or look for hotels online.
