We're getting married!

When Karla left Brazil to study in the United States in 2011 she did not expect to spend the next 7+ years in Gainesville, Florida. Nik drove across the country from Oregon to Florida in 2014, to pursue a two-year degree at the University of Florida. In less than half a year, they met, fell in love, got married, had babies, and lived happily ever after... Just kidding! It took Nik three years to propose. He was waiting for the stars to align. In fact, he waited until a total solar eclipse on August 21st, 2017!

We knew we had found "the one" only after we visited each other's homes. Because of this, we want to celebrate our love in Brazil as well as in the U.S. We are really excited to invite you to our wedding! You are welcome to come to both, or whichever ceremony is more convenient for you. We can't wait to have our friends and family join us for this very important moment in our lives. The first wedding is in Ouro Preto on June 2nd, 2018 and the second will be in Medford, Oregon on July 14th, 2018.
