Puerta Vallarta, Mexico

Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Rafee Alam and Nikhita Sachdeva
Puerto Vallarta is one of those places that somehow manages to be stunning, delicious, and endlessly fun all at once :) Whether you spend the whole weekend at the resort or venture out to explore, here's what we'd recommend. Uber works great in Puerto Vallarta and is the easiest way to get around. The resort concierge can also help book excursions if you want a hassle-free option. And as a reminder, everything at Hyatt Ziva is all-inclusive, so there's truly no pressure to leave if you'd rather just relax!

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Jal. 48390, Mexico

The resort is genuinely an experience in itself, so don't feel like you need to leave. Spend your days bouncing between the pools and the beach, grab a drink (or five) at one of the bars, and let the all-inclusive do its thing. The Spa is a must if you're looking for a little extra pampering, perfect for the day before or after the wedding. There's also water sports equipment available (kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear) and nightly entertainment if you want to keep the party going.

Puerto Vallarta Malecon

S/N Paseo Díaz Ordaz, Puerto Vallarta, Jal. 48300, Mexico

The waterfront boardwalk is beautiful for a sunset stroll, and the Romantic Zone just behind it is full of great restaurants, shops, and energy. Don't skip the taco stands on Basilio Badillo Street.

Los Muertos Beach

Jal., Mexico

You have your own private beach at the hotel BUT if you're looking for the most popular beach in PV this is the beach to go to. Easy to get to and great for a chill afternoon.

Whale Watching Excursion

We're getting married right in prime season (January through March), so there's a good chance you'll spot humpbacks from your room. Several boat tours run daily.

Sayulita Zip-lining and ATV Tours

For the adventurous ones in the group, the jungle tours around PV are a blast. About an hour north, this little surf town is charming, colorful, and worth the drive.

Marietas Islands

Mexico

A boat tour out to the islands gets you a hidden beach and some of the best snorkeling in Mexico. Highly recommend booking in advance.
