The Wedding Website of Nik Alexander and Anna Ruzickova
✈️ Traveling from LAX to Prague We can't wait to celebrate with you in "The Heart of Europe!" Here’s everything you need to know about your journey from Los Angeles. Booking Your Flight There are no direct flights from LAX to PRG, so expect a layover in a hub like Paris, Amsterdam, or Munich. Total travel time is usually 12–15 hours. We recommend booking 4–6 months out for the best rates via airlines like Lufthansa, Air France or KLM. Pro-Tip: Prague is 9 hours ahead of LA. Book an evening flight from LAX to arrive in Prague the following afternoon. This helps you sync with local time much faster! Arrival & Transport 🚘 Once you land at Václav Havel Airport (PRG): Ride Share: Uber and Bolt are reliable and take 25–30 mins to reach the city center. Don't taxi. Public Transit: Take the 119 bus to the Metro Line A for the most budget-friendly route. Passports Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months past your travel dates. Safe travels—see you in Czechia! 🇨🇿

Getting Around

The official app for Prague’s public transport is PID Lítačka. Using the app is generally cheaper than buying paper tickets from a machine. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets using a contactless credit/debit card at the orange terminals located inside all trams and at the entrance to Metro stations. Tickets purchased on trams are automatically validated. Tickets purchased in Metro stations or using the PID Lítačka app, must be manually activated either at the turnstile just before boarding the metro escalators or within the app. Transportation inspectors are strict; being on board with an inactive ticket can result in a fine of 1,500 CZK (approx. $70). Should you prefer to Rideshare, Uber and Bolt are both great options.

Shuttle

Shuttle to Reception Venue

July 16, 2027 11:15 am - 12:00 pm

To ensure a seamless transition to our celebration, a dedicated shuttle service will be available to transport you from the ceremony to the reception. Guests are welcome to board at their leisure between the end of the ceremony and 12:00 PM. Those staying overnight at the chateau are encouraged to bring their luggage along. You may also choose to store larger items in a storage locker/hotel of your choice in Prague and bring only an overnight bag. Bounce is a great app for this across Europe. https://bounce.com/ls/app. They provide places to store luggage and are especially useful for those who choose to Airbnb.

Staying Connected

Mobile Data & eSIM: For those traveling from outside the EU, we recommend using the Airalo app to stay connected. It allows you to purchase an eSIM (a digital SIM card), giving you data the moment you land without the hassle of swapping physical SIM cards or paying high roaming fees. Which plan to choose? Czech Republic Plan: Best if you are only staying within the country. Recommended: Select Standard 7 days 3GB at $5. Europe Plan: Ideal if your trip includes multiple European stops. Recommended: Select Standard 7 days 3GB at $11. How to use it: Referral Code: NIK3881 Download & Buy: Install the Airalo app and purchase your plan before you leave home. Install: Follow the in-app prompts to install the eSIM while you still have your home Wi-Fi. Activate: Turn the eSIM "On" in your phone settings once you land in Europe. Make sure roaming is activated under your phone's data settings. Why this is important: You will need a reliable data connection to use the PID Lítačka app for public transport. Since tickets must be activated in the app before boarding, having an eSIM ensures you aren't hunting for public Wi-Fi just to catch a tram or use Rideshare apps. *One important caveat to this convenient solution is your phone must be owned outright. Otherwise, it may be best to reach out to your carrier for options.
