We can't wait to welcome you into "the most beautiful town square in Texas"! Georgetown, established in 1848, has been awarded the most beautiful town square in all of Texas for one hundred years running. The square offers shops, antique stores, & a plethora of restaurants. Grab a drink to go at one of the local wineries or pubs & take a stroll around the square for a great time & live music! Georgetown is especially beautiful during the month of December & puts on a show-stopping display filled with Christmas decor & twinkling lights everywhere. Head just off the square to San Gabriel River Park to see beautiful landscapes with small waterfalls & winding trails for miles, or down the way to the famous Inner Space Caverns for some family-friendly adventure! Inner Space Cavern is a karst cave located in Georgetown, Texas. The cavern was formed by water passing through Edwards limestone. The cavern is estimated to be around 12–25 million years old but was open to the surface during the late Pleistocene period 10,000–45,000 years ago.
