Some love stories begin with a spark—ours began with a prayer answered. Introduced by Nigel’s mom, Paula, our meeting felt less like coincidence and more like something God-ordained. From the very beginning, something just clicked. Our first date on November 17, 2019, in Washington, D.C., was unforgettable: box seats at a Commanders game, a day party on U Street, late-night pizza at MODS, and a movie in Silver Spring. It was spontaneous and romantic, but beneath the fun was something deeper—an ease, a peace, a sense of being home—because it all felt so natural in each other’s presence. Since then, we’ve grown from strangers to best friends, co-adventurers to soulmates. We’ve traveled to Aruba, Cancun, the Dominican Republic, Cabo, Puerto Rico, Ocean City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Asheville, Miami, and now Boston—but no destination compares to the journey we’re about to take together. We’ve prayed together, grown together, and learned what it means to love not just with emotion, but with purpose, patience, grace, and intentionality. On October 26, 2025, Nigel proposed during an intimate garden dinner in Morocco—just the two of us under the stars, surrounded by candlelight, with words we’ll never forget. In that beautiful and perfect moment, he asked Antoinette to walk with him in love, in faith, and into forever. Without hesitation, Antoinette said yes. Now, we’re stepping into marriage with hearts full of gratitude—anchored in faith, wrapped in joy, and surrounded by the people we love most.
