In light of the current covid-19 surge, there are a few things we want to keep you informed on. Masks will be required while moving about throughout the reception and ceremony and while visiting the buffet and the dessert table. We will have masks on site, but please be considerate and come prepared with your own mask as well. There will be close to 100 guests indoors and within close proximity to each other. As much as we can try, social distancing will be difficult to enforce while eating and dancing. If this is something you are not comfortable with and no longer wish to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone! See you soon!
Jake and I met at a Cinco de Mayo party our junior year of college. We later learned that we had hung out with the same group of mutual friends multiple times throughout the years, even had classes together, but Cinco de Mayo was the day that it all started. After flirting off and on, catching each others eye and “unexpectedly” being in the same room as each other whenever we could, when it came time to play bags I stood up and (with some liquid courage from Hannah’s special margaritas) said, “I’ll be Jake’s partner!” We didn’t win at bags, and later realized that the rest of the party was going on around us but couldn’t stop talking long enough to care. We’ve spent every second we could together after that, he truly is my best friend! 2 bouts of long distance, 1 big move and 1 addition to the fam later (hi pup!!), we could not be happier to be starting our forever together.
